Nor me, except I'm trying to get my mobile phone to communicate with the PC, other than via Bluetooth or microSD, but by a USB connection and I can't get it to fecking work.

Lucky old Sad!

Pottering about most of today - got lots of washing up and so-on done and a nice run to the park late afternoon/early evening, but nothing thrilling. Unless you coulnt making lemon jelly as thrilling - M does, but she's four, so...

I vomited halfway up Mount teide - a coach trip on a hot day up a mountain with a monster hangover is apparently a very bad idea! This was around 1990-ish, I would image all traces have washed away - unless of course they erected a stone in my honour

Hope life is chugging along nicely for all at the moment. Here things are fine, I did my tax return last week and should get all my tax back that I paid in the last financial year so that will help! Australia is great, it's like a little mid-year enforced Christmas club with the Australia Tax Office The downside is I found out how behind I am with LittlePlum's school fees, I thought I had nearly caught up but apparently not - so there goes my tax refund as soon as it arrives - booo hooo hooo! However, before I do that, I have said LittlePlum can have $50 for her monster high dolls and I'll spend a bit on books! I can't be totally sensible or I would truly go insane

That's our Plum - painting pictures with words again!

Glad you got a little windfall, anyway. And never, ever be completely sensible. That would spoil things

I'm back at work. Bleah!

Don't you go tempting me to look at twitter our KJ.

Plum - buying books is one of the greatest pleasures to be had, innit.

Here, since my last trip during which I gave my email address to a couple of places, I've been getting Polish spam. I'm choosing to read it because I'm very rusty and need the practice, and who knows, maybe there are some good deals to be had in Warsaw...

Trust me on that one, handy will surely approve.

You're right to be cautious though, twitter is mostly drivel, "Who is Neil Armstrong?" proved my point (some people really asked that recently!).

I love Googling phrases at random. To wit:

My name is Earl and I have £30 million Euros for you to look after *cough* launder, if you are prepared to give me your bank details. In return you'll get 20% (I'm being generous here you know) of the initial outlay. Interested?

I enjoyed that immensely I think it was following a mention from you here some years ago that I bought another copy of the Complete Molesworth. I'm quite tempted to go for it again, mine is languishing in a box in storage but I think buying it three times in my lifetime is probably a bit excessive!

Tomorrow I am having an unexpected day off ..... pesky catholic teachers - boo hisssssss* - are on strike tomorrow so the school is closed. I'm quite looking forward to my day off, I apologised to my manager today when I told him, and lamented my lost hours but he's going to let me have a couple of extra hours on Friday so that will make it up a bit!

* at this point I am hiding to avoid the wrath of our absolutely several teachers here But I'm only boo-ing catholic school teachers of the antipodean variety although for the sake of absolute clarity and honesty having said that some of them are doubtless non-catholic and some are certainly not Australian ....

The Radio Times ran a "How much Do You Know About..." thing in this week's issue and I was statled by how much I remebered! I was only in my early teens when it was on first time round - must have watched more ofit than I thought!

I'm planning to record all the Dallas episodes then watch them in one big Dallas fest. Unless it's rubbish.

I'm knackered. Too much to do, too little time etc.
