So wonderful to come home to glorious sunshine.
![]() Discovered while away that DS eats your bandwidth (presume it's all the ads) when accessing via mobile phone (and pages take forever to load) - maybe it's me, but hence the absence ![]() Quiet in here... sending mega vibes to any lovely grumpies in need. Plummie - we had a puker on our coach - he must have been channelling you Or maybe it was his own stupid fault for necking a bottle of champagne kindly provided by the tour company... we were not very sympathetic given he was sitting directly behind us with 3 similarly inebriated friends and they'd been a pain in the derriere all day ![]() Such a relief to be dropped off first on the return trip - in the knowledge they had another hour to endure before they could get off ![]() In other newsmy keyboard is sticking and I havehad to re-rea this post severl times, thi final sentence being the oly one I aven't bothered with jus toshow yu what the rest of hte post would have ooked like No I haven't been on the wine

Morning! Just!
It's a gorgeous day here but I've seen the forecast for the week and it looks like we'll all be needing flippers from Tuesday on. |

I mowed the lawn today so we should manage at least three more days of good weather, surely... if I'd left it, it would be pouring tomorrow

I hope your day turned out more productive than mine Sad. I was doing quite well actually, then the boy plus mates needed a lift to the cinema and made me (yes, made me) watch the film with them. It was The Watch - very silly and bursting at the seams with willy jokes, but they bought me 3 scoops of ice cream so I was a very happy bunny.
![]() Back home now and debating with myself whether I should do a bit of work or call it quits until the morning. The latter sounds good. |

Morning!
What we need is a morning pep talk... but I need another cup of tea first. Also, the weather's not as crappy as was promised so I'm very tempted to do some outdoor stuff... Hmmm, I think I need a boss to keep me in line.

Liking it, KJ
![]() My grump: Melony is currently fascinated with the concept of mud and has come home from school grafted about four days out of the five she's attended this year. Mud pies, muddy shoes, mud on her coat, polo shirt, *inside* the sleeve of her cardigan ( Four pairs new school socks already bitten the dust. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! |

![]() I've been up since very early indeed, thanks to my mum. After a reasonably calm period, she's heading for another down turn, or so it seems. I'm really baffled by why people in her state are judged to be capable of independent living. She literally can't follow a conversation a lot of the time, doesn't know where she is, talks to me about her daughter and when I say who I am refuses to believe me... Today she's worrying about some woman and some boys who keep writing to her. She needs to meet them in a shop in town but she doesn't know what they look like or how much money to give them. They're buying her passport from her, apparently, and her house, and she thinks they're taking her on holiday, probably to Italy to see the Pope. So she needs to give them £6. That's as *logical* as it gets. I said I'd meet them instead so she's not to worry, and finally she was okay with that, but it's not good, is it. |
