We're not doing much either. The boy is knackered after a few days of freshers week (youngsters these days - no stamina ) and Batman's just had a week of getting on and off planes (and travelling, obviously... ) while I've been hard at it evicting imaginary people from my mum's cupboards while trying to keep deadlines for work. So yes, walks, food, wine and some X Factor for us bats this weekend, I think.

Oooh snOwbES... good luck for Tuesday.

Here, one daughter is now safely (???) installed in her uni accommodation. Little concerned about her having been saddled with a ground floor room but other than that it seems a great place, and most importantly it's within walking distance of some excellent shops

Quite how she's going to get to her lectures from there she hasn't worked out yet - she'll find out tomorrow - if she wakes up, given the amount of acohol they were planning to consume when we left...

Thinking of you snOwy!

Nothing much going on in the batcave. I've had a couple of nights of no sleep and it's still 'orrible outside, so I feel like having a sofa day with the Kindle.

Whether I'll have one is another matter. But I had one Very Tricky call to make this morning and I've already made it, so I feel like I deserve a reward.

I think we all have a bit of a loopy something, snowbes!
Glad you're out the other end - if you see what I mean!

Been chucking it down all day here. Mr M's had yet another interview but looking like he maybe didn't get it as they haven't rung him back yet. So comfort food is in order - southern fried chicked, dip and salad, bramble and apple crumble with custard. Get on!

Speaking as his undiscovered twin, you are a treasure.

He (probably) won't be up to ravishing you after that lot but he'll sleep like a baby (should).

KJ & BG - put this into google. You will love it (apols if it's already been done on here - I miss stuff when I'm rushing):

2 sqrt(-abs(abs(x)-1)*abs(3-abs(x))/((abs(x)-1)*(3-abs(x))))(1+abs(abs(x)-3)/(abs(x)-3))sqrt(1-(x/7)^2)+(5+0.97(abs(x-.5)+abs(x+.5))-3(abs(x-.75)+abs(x+.75)))(1+abs(1-abs(x))/(1-abs(x))),-3sqrt(1-(x/7)^2)sqrt(abs(abs(x)-4)/(abs(x)-4)),abs(x/2)-0.0913722(x^2)-3+sqrt(1-(abs(abs(x)-2)-1)^2),(2.71052+(1.5-.5abs(x))-1.35526sqrt(4-(abs(x)-1)^2))sqrt(abs(abs(x)-1)/(abs(x)-1))+0.9

Sad, how wonderful, and geeky, was that?

It's so cool the DS quote feature broke!

Review: Great outfit looks really cool, really looking forward to wearing it! Only problems are.... the leather stockings dont stay up- just from walking around my house i can tell they wont so i wont be waring them... the mask is tight and attach's together at the back with a tiny bit of velcro which means it keeps coming undone.. other than that the outfit looks really good on, going to have to buy some hotpants though as its very short!! =o)

So today is shaping up to be fairly typical so far as this very disjointed week goes... was due at a school at 10.30am but the child in question has failed to show up; so cancelled that. Due at another school later, then whizzing* back home to pack up remainder of boy's stuff to take him to Uni tonight.
*disclaimer: might manage a cuppa with a friend en route, but this counts as essential refreshment, obviously

I feel a McDonald's dinner coming on.

Hope you feel a bit better now, snowbes. Not surprised you feel a bit odd after that very special experience!

Sad, sending you whirling dervish vibes, and enjoy your dirty burger. Good old Maccy D's, always there in a crisis!
And I'm not bats or KJ but I put your code in Google anyway, cos I'm a radical Loving the result!

Amica...

As for me - work, and general whizz-about-ery. That is all.
Feelgood Dr Who vid - give this guy some likes for this one, it's so sweet! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iU4W...eature=g-all-u
