Before Moffatt, I though Dr Who overplayed the drama. but I honestly felt a tear in my eye with the last two episodes. The Wild West one was very deep.

Hey, I know it's been grim oop North - seriously, having your house flooded is a nightmare - and it's been sploshy darn sarf - watching the littler birds try to shelter under the eaves of our roof.

But crikey, I didn't realise how vulnerable the interwebs are to rain. My router has been up and down like a tart's drawers all day.

I utterly recommend Plusnet. Good honest broadband from Yorkshire. I've been with them over a decade.

Top tip KJ. I'll look them up.

My day's been blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Mostly spent on the phone and it seems that it finished with a bigger mountain of problems than I started off with. On the plus side my Polish sweary words are coming back to me and I'm rather enjoying them. I might even start using them willy nilly.

Am fetching the boy back from Uni tonight, having only delivered him there yesterday (he only had lectures today, and nothing till next Tuesday ) so we can watch the last two episodes, then catch up and watch Saturday's (but on Sunday - we're out Saturday night). We are Dr Who geeks in this family. Just missing the daughter but she has a filming project for 48 hours this weekend.

I've loved Matt, wish he was staying longer, and have really enjoyed Amy & Rory - gutted that they're writing them out. Loved David Tennant too but he was a bit too 'human' - note to screenplay writers - doctor isn't meant to snog his companions. His best companion was Donna, in terms of what the companion's role really should be. I'd like to see Matt meet Rose, how would that work out now???

[/geekrant]

Well, we have capitulated and the heating's on.

Teach us some more I've found that I start each day with a small pile of stuff to do and end with a larger pile, for some reason. God knows how I ever found the time to go to work...

Is anyone else getting really annoying pop-up ads on each DS page at the moment??? Grump

Totally agree with you on all counts - except that I haven't heard anything about Matt Smith leaving, and I'm on the DS Dr Who board quite a lot when the show's on.

Do you have a source for this scandalous rumour, young lady???

KJ - sooooo with you re the Wild West one - I *adored* that ep. Am quite concerned that I'm going to howl my eyes out on Saturday... *snif*

Well pop up here Sad and give me a hand!

I'm looking at a massive pile of papers that I need to sort through for next week. It's not exactly work but it's not exactly fun either. Come 6pm, I'm getting a large PG in my hand and getting down to it for an hour or so. I'll probably be pissed by 7.

Cheers BG.

For valid work reasons, I have Channel 4 HD playing in office hours, and, now, I totally get "Come Dine With Me".

2 people playing it at face value, 1 harmless nutter, and 1 psycho. Confuse things by flashing your lady bumps or the size of your wallet.

There's not much point getting dressed after dinner, is there?

And you should be on the vodka, the Polski would be fine then.

You know what? I'm going to stop thinking about work now until Monday
