Morning all
I feel a little fragile this morning but probably not as fragile as I deserve It may yet come back to bite me on the bum later though as I have to go to work in a little while! I was trying to remember how long it would have been since I'd had more than one drink and it must be over 11 years. I don't think I'll make a habit of it but it was an excellent night considering I had no idea it was going to happen! Anyway, I better tootle off and make sure I have some headache tablets ready for later - I've already taken a couple on the assumption that something bad is brewing! |

I'm subscribing to the "never again" school of thought at the moment
I'm still feeling a bit under the weather not full scale awful just bleuarrrghh and mehhh! I had better be feeling better by tomorrow as I have a full days work tomorrow, I swapped shifts with one of the other ladies as she couldn't get vacation care for her sons yesterday, so I'm going to do her full day shift and she is going to do my 4 hours, but she will do them after 5 when her ex can look after the boys. The company won't lose out, so the grocery manager saw the logic in the swap, but I'm betting that we'll get told off by the store manager when she gets back as (a) she likes picking on the other lady and (b) she doesn't like giving me hours. I can think of no reasonable explanation apart from the fact that she is a sour old crow! |

I vanish for a couple of days and look what young Plum gets up to!
![]() I loves drunked typos, I does - splendid! Seriously, Plums, really glad you had a fab night. Hope your suffering has receeded I could give you all a list of hwat I've been doing but srsly - sooooo not worth it. Lets just say lots of housework/tidying up, various social events of the four-year-old kind and loads of bloody WORK. Gah! |

Where ... and women chunder? I was at one point moderately proud of myself for this and then I remembered that sometimes a hangover could be avoided if aforementioned chunder had happened. This morning i feel more like myself. It will be a while before I repeat Tuesday's bad behaviour

This is because tomorrow night I have to deliver a talk to some parents and former colleagues and my tummy is already doing back flips. I'd so much rather have been at the beer festival

Evening!
Batman and I are quite enjoying being empty nesters. Lunch out, a bit of shopping, an early supper out too... Going out to the local was on the cards but we've run out of energy.
