I'm here and also refreshing. AND I'm home alone. AND my Tuesday finished about an hour ago (as in, that's when I finally got home).

handy - I forgot to say a big yes please to George.

I am wracked with guilt for not being at Palace tonight, but September is a busy month (2 away trips) and I have to show restraint.

I found this!

PS @iggy - Posh, Seven, well done.
Have I ever told you that you find the bestest linkies?

You know me so well

I am sitting here still surrounded by the paperwork I started the day with. I'm actually genuinely tempted to try to stay up all night to get shot of it all.

Seconded - especially as I *did* doss. Lots of reading and a purple Lush bath. Mmmmmmmm...

Batty - I'll bring George with me. He's a big boy, though, I'm warning you

We're off for a Grandad Day - lots of mud and mess, then!

...wonder how Iggy's kitchen is coming along?

I'll pop George straight in the car. He's too big to carry around.

I feel all bloated and heavy and burpy and a bit sick. My internet diagnosis is that it's an ulcer but I might let the doc have a prod around. I know he'll be well impressed that I already know what it is.

Dr Melon says:
Given the stress you've been under that sounds to me like reflux - excess stomach acid escaping up into your gullet. I get it when I'm stressed and the sympoms sound exactly the same.
Try Gaviscon before you go to the quack and see how that does... I recommend Gaviscon Extra tablets or the peppermint liquid. The aniseed one is revolting...

Afternoon!

I can't decide if I'm grumpy or not - it's peeing down, I've got a hangover (my mum confided in me yesterday that her daughter isn't very nice and she never visits and wants to steal her house... ) but on the other hand Batman's working from home today so the place has a weekend feel about it already.
