I mowed the lawn today instead Determined to try and be summery - !!!

It's already dark but then we haven't seen the blasted sunshine all day so I expect the sky just gave up

Hot chocolate sounds good... and cake. Lots of cake

We have a new pup I'm happy, LittlePlum is ecstatic as technically it is her puppy. We're still skint - no job .... but we have a puppy! Life on a certain level is great!

Big hugs to you all - sorry I've been away, busy job hunting .... and getting a puppy! She's lovely and mad as a fish, her favourite bit of mischief is an unhygenic disgusting dash round the house with the toilet brush on a regular basis!

Puppy sounds a much more cheery option than a job any day of the week

But still sending vibes for the job Plumster. And to Iggy for her kitchen. And to those of you who need them right now... ((((((((GOW)))))))))

Off out for a meal this evening (no sense in tarnishing a newly cleaned oven, is there? ) then plans to make for tomorrow... why is this week passing so quickly?

Puppy sounds adorable Plum - what's her name.

Back on the kitchen front - plasterer arrived yesterday and returned again today. He worked quietly and assiduously; his work is superb - the finished walls and ceiling are like glass! He's gone a long way to restoring my faith in the building trade - though I'll reserve overall judgement until I'm holding my kitchen party. Champagne in the sink will be a must!

Wuss

I'm wondering what to wear for a day out today Bloody weather, we have blue sky and glorious sunshine here, but...

Oh, what the heck - it's a good excuse to buy a new cardie if I travel light, innit

Her name is Bella (chosen by LittlePlum whose puppy she is), and she is a Staffy and a beautiful coffee colour. Our old girl is a very dark brindle Staffy.

She's beating up a plastic carrier bag at the moment - it's been one thing after another today! It's impossible to get cross with her as she has such a worried expression on her face most of the time, it's just the forehead wrinkles that do that!

The absence of links was noted

Hope you had a fab time

I have had a fab time today - only slightly marred by realising towards the very end of it that my wretched offspring has passed hercough/cold/flu-ey lurgy on to me. I'm off to bed. Yes, really ...

No rain today either - just as well, as we've been shopping for a teeny tiny school uniform and associated shoes. My grief, where does the time go?????

Oh, don't... it's a bloody good job Mr M is the on taking her on Wednesday morning, cos I'd disgrace meself. I can drive off to school myself in the opposite direction and have a nice quiet cry in the car.
It's not even as if I've been at home with her every day, is it, FFS? I'm *such* a saddo!
