More popping in than lurking. I've the attention span of a gnat at the moment.

And mama is now telling people that she hasn't seen me in years, not since I married a gypsy with long, black hair and went off travelling with him. How exciting!!!

A black haired gypsy - hope you had a good time.:

I'm thirsty, hungry and tired.

Wine, food and bed in that order.

I'm around... but trying to do half-term when I can't drive or move at more than a shuffle is proving bloody hard work!

Stressed husband, too... he's even more knackered than me and the poor sod goes back to work next week.

Roll on recovery.

At least the GP has signed me off till after Christmas

Handy, I really hope you're doing as little as possible... you can make it up to Mister Melon after Christmas (if you haven't already in all the years leading up to this anyway )

Batty - get yourself a tent and a crystal ball and you've got a Christmas holiday job sorted..

Here... I've worked out that if I keep going for 12 hours solid, I can get all the washing, ironing, mending and cleaning done. Or, I could read a really good book. Decisions, decisions. One thing I won't be doing is driving, unless Young Sad really needs me to. I'm getting to know every pothole on the A6 as though they're my old friends...

And our parents! We're the *sandwich generation*.

Sounds like everyone is madly busy, doesn't it. I'm trying to be but getting nothing done. My mum's problems have somehow managed to create a mountain for paperwork for me... (not the bit about me running off with my gypsy husband, obviously)

Oooh, have fun Bring us back all the goss

It's a beautiful day and I'm doing more housework. Who would believe one moderately sized house could look so neglected, so quickly

Crikey it's quiet.

As for choons Sad, http://www.swissgroove.ch/ floats my boat but it needs a bit of techy to get going.

Watch out for the ferrets!!!

KJ - how's the job?

Here, well, 4 emails I really need to do something about appeared out of nowhere about two hours ago. I've managed to ignore them so far and now it's the weekend I feel it's fine to ignore them some more. I'm right, aren't I...

It was up northerer....soo I wore my woolly tights.........and he's looking skinnier........... so after taking him and the girlfriend to an all-you-can-eat Chinese we visited a supermarket and stocked up on cereals, chopped up fruit and some ready meals.

She was very nice so he can keep her.................and she has been taking him back to hers where her parents feed him which is a bonus.

It was a long drive but I was pleased to see him. I didn't think I would miss him quite so much.
So back at home the youngest has his dj friend over and it's not exactly quiet .............and I am getting a runny nose so just want to curl up in bed but I have been voted taxi in my absence.

We are slaves to our children - think I've said that already this week. Fortunately for me I'm not yet a sandwich....................

There were no ferrets but I did see whippets................and poodles strangely.
