Hello, Collette - hope you and all your fab family are fab!

Mr M fell asleep on the settee last night after I'd gone up to bed - I retrieved him at about half three...
Bit of a late start to the day, consequently

Amica, hope your shoulder's better.
I'm making two of this year's presents - both my cousins on my Mum's side have new babies, so I'm cross-stitching a little sampler each. See my halo? *shine shine*
Melony has made a list which varies from a Space ray-gun through a doctor's outfit to a Barbie hairdressing head. We' have to keep warning her she's not gettig everything on the list - Father Christmas will have to choose some things. he won't be choosing the bloody barbie thing, I can assure you!

I have no grumps today, but I'm hoping this one has been a better one for you than yesterday, and I'll do this in sympathy: ------->>>>

Hopefully Sad's day was better but I'm still swearing at bankers and getting very tired of listening to Michael Buble when I'm on hold. Very little, in fact, is going smoothly of late. If I went into details I'd probably create the longest post on DS so I'll just go grrrrr instead.

D'you know what? I was just having a catch up on here and it struck me that I had no idea what Liz Jones was up to these days. Yes, I did venture over to take a look and went off on a tangent half way through reading her latest "crisis", but, she's still bloody there!!! And so are the GOW's...

She's a nutcase, that woman!
I'm sure she speaks highly of me, too.

Hope batty's Buble-obsessed bankers have been less problematic today.

Here, it's v. windy and I'm dividing my time between cleaning, reading, sewing and watching daytime telly. It's a struggle, but, you know, I'm coping!

I ended but going to the bank. It's amazing how quickly things can move when you motivate people in the right way (do what I say and I'll stop hissing at you across your desk).

Very cold here. It was -2 first thing.

I bet that banker will still be having nightmares for weeks

I've had a very productive day, only not in the way intended. C'est la vie

Mr Sad's off on his travels on Sunday... he appears to be writing me a To Do List. I'm about to add 'Change locks' to it, and see if he notices

Homes Under the Hammer, Grand Designs, Bargain Hunt and Location Location Location

Anyone spot the theme?

batty - Yay! You go, girl!!! *punches the air*

Sad - just take the list, nod and smile, then shred it when he's gone

My life it's c-c-c-c-c-c-cold!

If it were down to me it'd be ITV all the way here in the day - Jeremy Kyle, This Morning, Loose Women right through till I'd have to switch over to Doctors but himself insists on BBC all the way...

I was embarrassed the other day though - had a phone call from school really early and was very conscious that I was trying desperately to talk over DNA results in the background when I took said football boots in I made a point of mentioning that the telly had just been on that channel and um... erm...

Been over to to Beverley across the middle of the day for Mr M's replacement glasses frame (dropped the last pair!) and for a general mooch about. Bookended this with general domesticity and M making pictures with crayons and stickers. We now have about a gazillion original Mini-Melon Artworks... any takers?

When I (occasionally) buy a Heat magazine I always buy a Guardian too.

Afternoon Grumpsters. We're having a very quiet weekend so nothing to report from the batcave.

*puts on sunglasses to mute the radioactive glow from KJ*

No big events here, either - just lots of tot-wrangling and Christmas prep!
