Aww KJ - sorry!

All quiet here, in a frenetically busy but entirely routine kind of a way...

Sorry to hear about the piggy.

Grey day here. Been to hospital with the little big one. He has to have another scan.....and I have to beg for more time off. OH still incapacitated with his back and I am going stir crazy. I get to go to work and hospitals. Yay.

And it's report time again. I need that program that you talk to and it writes them for you. Or a secretary.

Why not set it as homework for the kids to do each other's - you could offer them sweets to keep it quiet

I don't think teaching is really my vocation

KJ - that sucks we acquired a hamster for t'youngest's birthday - well I say a hamster, he looks more like a bleedin' horse... he's massive! And very inquisitive too - I think he missed the briefing when hamsters were told to be little and shy

Sad - that sucks too - but onwards and upwards

And a big smiley wave to everyone else - being rubbish with my new year's resolution of coming here more often but I am trying (very!)

I'm loving your idea, Collette, but as they are only five , I'm not sure it's practical. Maybe they can dictate each other's to Sad while I put my feet up. I wish. Staring vibes to Sad early ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I got back to the Marie Celeste. There are potatoes baking in the oven but no-one is home - so do I finish tea?

Surely that just makes it more entertaining! Love the idea of the girls describing themselves as having nice shoes and pretty hair and no doubt the boys will be impressed at each other's fighting techniques

Though having seen my 6 year old's 'shopping' list recently perhaps it would make more sense to dictate them to Sad - or perhaps paint them in picture form

Here I've just driven to Coventry, watched football training in the cold, driven home and am now watching football in the warm... did get tea cooked though so can't complain too much!

Hello, folks!

I'm not impressed with our internet connection the last few days - gah!
However, we seem to be back to what passes for normal for the time being.

No real news, so I'll just give you all a hug... (((((((((((GOWs))))))))))))

PS - KJ, nothing wrong with letting your feminine side hang out...

Ladies (where is Iggy?) ... I know a thread about male health in GD is not your cup of tea.

http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...2&postcount=47

Click on the link in there. It's the funniest thing I've heard in ages.

I'm not sure Batman would forgive me.

I've been poshly swearing today, There's something quite satisfying in letting rip at people who definitely deserve it, and a poshly pronounced eff off definitely does the job. The only word I do in pure Yorkshire is tw*t. It so works.
