Take it easy with that dancing, you're supposed to be resting.

She can do extravagent seated arm-movements...

Today started really badly - I slept in, our laptop booted up with all the documents missing, panic throughout the household.

But Mr M got M to school on time then made it to his first meeting, I got to school just as the bell went for the start of the day and so far all is looking good. I'm still waiting for the next brick to drop, though!

Sometimes KJ.

I know it's only Wednesday but thank goodness for PG. My lunch out was lovely but I paid a heavy price for it as everything else I needed to do got squashed into the late afternoon and early evening.

Anyway, I've finished for now so cheers...

Sad's refusing to live up to her name right now

Just got back from the hopspittle and we're none the wiser, other than I seem to have produced a jellyfish like object the like of which several eminent minds seem to have never seen before. I iz special

The jury is still out on the future management but when they mentioned the word 'laparoscopy' I believe I may have shrieked ... they're not coming near me with a bloody general anaesthetic for a few years, thanks

Sad, that little noise you heard was my mind boggling!
And as for surgery.. you just *know* the spinal anaesthetic is the way to go!

Still no home internets - won't be around DS this weekend.

Also, my doom awaits me... Melony's 4th birthday party is tomorrow.
24 little people in a village hall with a bouncy castle and party nibbles - what could possibly go wrong?

non-grump:

I've had a good day, even life's little disasters aren't getting me down. They're piling up though, washing machine leak, old car, bust bike, broadband held together with electrical tape, ... as handy sez, what could possibly go wrong?

I'm really a huge pessimist so I always have the feeling there's an asteroid called KJ44 heading my way, and this is tempting fate, but if you can't share being happy ...

Sad knows.

PS Our DECT phone thinks its 2004 ...

So, handy's not around... Let's talk about her! I'll start...

... She's really lovely.

Cold here. We've had a snowy walk and are now trying to keep warm in front of the fire. And it's almost PG time!

Home alone. Beer, curry, no football though, settle for Buffy DVDs until Borgen at 21:00 on BBC4.

Take a hint you lot. Borgen. Borgen. Borgen.

In other news, Ms KJ has been sailing far away and capsized (in this weather!) . MrsKJ has been with her to hospickle. It'll be OK, but whoa! Rock hard.

Bloomin' 'eck our KJ. Scary stuff. Glad she's okay.

We're officially snowed in snowy. I know that for a fact because two neighbours turned up on my doorstep about half an hour ago saying they couldn't get onto the main road. One was supposed to be going out and the other was heading for the shops. They met at the bottom of the big hill where two cars were already stuck and decided not to carry on. Why did they come to see me? For wine. Yes, all my neighbours seem to think that I have a decent supply. I don't know why.

I gave them an emergency wine box each.

I am virtuous. I cleared the drive and the pavement in front of our house this morning. It took about an hour and made me think about what back-breaking means in the context of hard work.

*waves*

Not quite snowed in but near to it. And foggy. Yuk!

Party was a roaring success and ended as the first tiny flakes of snow began to fall

Hope KJs are all well, batty still has plenty of provisions, and everyone else is hale and hearty

Sad, are you home yet? Is your house still standing?

*is impressed with all the KJs*

*waves at HM* - am home, house still standing by virtue of the fact that the weather prevented most of them from turning up - in the end 4 guests materialised and they spent most of their time outside in the snow acting more like ten year olds than 18 year olds so it was all good

Batty - don't run out of wine

Knackered dot com... might go back to bed, in truth - went up at 8pm last night and still only managed about an hour's sleep all night .... *grump*

I slept most of the day and stayed awake most of the night, too, I recall!

I recommend sh1t daytime telly - sends me off in no time: "Oh look, it's Location, Locatio....zzzzzzz"
