Hope the nose is better today.
It is, fankoo.

As for mental imagery, I just came over all literary, creative writing, innit?

They're working. Less achy today

Glad to hear it's better. You and the Plumster make a right pair
I've got my home internets back!!! *happydance*

Woohoo for HM and her home internets - just in time for the weekend

[gets on soapbox]
Okay so.... it took a 75 year old last night to point out the bleedin' obvious to yours truly. Sure, the outside bits of me look well and good and I'm over the 4 week mark now. But it's your insides ... as she put it
Spoiler
... so I'm going to stop being frustrated and remember my innards have been in the wars a bit and be kinder to them than I have been.
It's common sense, that's all.

Perspective check includes reminding self that an old friend who has leukaemia is only now - after 2 years of treatment and being in and out of hospital (currently in) - beginning to show signs of buckling mentally. Now THAT is courage.

Going to snuggle under the duvet and be grateful for what I have

Vibes by the bucketload to LL who has also endured more than a person should ever have to. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Yep, Sad, it'll be a while before you can sneeze without screaming...

I'm four-and-a-half months down and still have a few lingering after effects - a few sore spots, a few numb spots, confused bowels and the sort of belly I suspect you have after a Caesarian.

The *good* news is that my general physical health is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. So behave yourself, be nice to yourself and take all the time you need. *kiss*

That ought to depress me but it's oddly comforting to know that's all perfectly normal. They don't tell you enough, these doctors. I do feel much, much better otherwise

I was:

a) doing houseworks
b) having a long walk and a play in the park
c) handling Tired Teatime Toddler solo while Mr M did some unexpected work stuff
d) falling asleep early following all the above

How's about the rest of you?

Hello grumpers.

I am feeling deflated. no particular reason, but since everyone is asking where the others are, I thought I'd check in.

I know why Amica is asking, hint hint.

Today I went to a funeral and now I realise that may have been a tad more ambitious than I thought. Been back to bed... tummy still swollen up like mad so staying there tomorrow.

Not as exciting as the rest of you
