Chumbalinas???

Well... I was late picking M up bacause my coaching session on How To Play The Game The OFSTED Way over-ran; the flipping cat has found a way to lick its flipping foot WITH the flipping collar on, so I had to build it an extension with an old folder and some masking tape; and Mr M got in from work about 8pm.

Other than that it's been a lovely evening. Pah!

I'd put money on that, KJ

Another Uni open day today. Mr Sad drove. I limped, mostly. Knackered, off to bed. Rather grumpy.

Yep!

Bag of crisps, apple, quick drink, check DS...

And now it's time for tea.

I got some Halva the other day so I'm going for that instead of cake. Tis about 10000000 calories per bite, I reckon.

Stafford, Snowbes. And not for the first time, either. It's a nice run, when the car isn't aquaplaning. Have I mentioned I'm a terrible passenger?

For some reason DS keeps signing me out. Hurumph.

^^^^ on reflection I have nothing to complain about, really

Halva! Yum!

I had a Waitrose cinnamon swirl yesterday - cake heaven - though I agree with KJ that the custard slice is a bit of a work of art.

Today is Friday which is chip-shop at lunch day... Yay! \o/

(No internets at all at home last night - hopefully it was the solar flares or worrevva...)

All this cake talk is making me hungry and it's 3pm. What to do, what to do...

I need something to cheer me up. I got pulled over by the police (rear break light not working) and asked if I'd been drinking. I said do I look like I've been drinking??? and he agreed that I didn't but said it was a standard question and he wouldn't ask me to do a breathalyzer test. Good, I sniffed, all offended. I never, ever drink and drive.

I'm in a bad way handy - when I read buttons I immediately thought of chocolate buttons.

There's an Ann Summers dressing-up idea ...

A bit melt-y, KJ. Let's be practical here!

We once tried squirty cream, only to discover that it leaves one smelling like a bottle of sour milk. Not a romantic success.....

I'm shocked handy & KJ. Really, I am.

Not much to report from bat towers. We're having a much needed quiet-ish home day.

I was out with Melony for a really nice walk this afternoon; daffs in the sheltered spots, a skylark giving it everything he had, sunshine, exploring. Brill.

Got home... and realise I'd forgotten to buy the loo roll! Guess where I'm off to once she's gone to sleep...
