I was catching up the food shop and housework - we went out to McDonald's for tea on Friday then went for a big play in the park. Because sometimes it has to be done!

Sunny but chilly here - picnic in the car and a walk is the plan - though Mr M isn't dressed yet...

Two halves of cider in the beer garden this aft put paid to my day as I needed a little sleep after. It's been lovely and sunny in Derbyshire and we bought Bakewell pudding for tea.

Eff-all achievers, I'm proud of you, every one! We all bloody deserve some quality slump-time, so there!

Got ourpicnic and our walk, en famille - about an hour and hardly any "cawweee-meeeee"-ing (she's learned not to bother cos I just say no anyway!), then called in for some mint Cornettos and took them to the *other* park. Did about an hour there then home for tea. This weather can't last but by heck it's been lovely!

All our weekend doings and not doings sound fab.

Back to reality here - I'm just having my breakfast and not because I've been a lazy git sleeping in!

(((((batty)))))) - thought you might need one!

We've spent today on annoying paperwork and being irritable with each other about the annoying paperwork. Bah!

Bonkers weather... here, we're mostly expecting it to chuck it down with rain all day. I feel a duvet day would be more appropriate than my actual plans.

[rant] why oh why do people have to panic buy... fuel out of stock, first class and second class stamps suddenly vanishing, and of course as it's Easter this weekend the supermarket shelves will be emptied too. Bah Humbug [/rant]

In other news, I'm contemplating getting an early night to watch 'who do you think you are', since I keep missing them. Bet Mr Sad slopes off up there before half ten. Grump
