Count me in, I'm chuffin' freezing.

And damp. Very, very damp.

And looking for a good reason not to go into work tomorrow, other than giving in and calling in sick

Roger has escaped....Himindoors opened the lounge door without knocking and he sped out. the fact that i screamed is apparently responsible for his running off.

I think Himindoors is probably feeling guilty

Bummer though Let's hope he turns up safe and sound, preferably this evening - it's wet cold and 'orrible out there, rattle his food dish around and you might clinch it

Hope he comes back soon. x
Our dog keeps going to the door, sniffing the air and coming back in. Hopefully the weather will have the same effect on Roger.

Wish it was Friday.................

I was just about to have a mega rant, as I've just broken the headphone jack/socket on my laptop and can't find my cigarettes. Headphone jack/socket was broken while looking for said fags.

The latter has been solved, but *argh fecking argh*

Good vibes to all of you though.

I'll have to send the laptop in for a pretend repair for the headphone jack/socket and a keyboard key which has gone awol (the flicky f*cker). After all, the stingy bastards at Acer didn't send me an installation disk, but just gave me instructions for making a recovery f*ckup set of disks.

Gotta love Acer... you've now got me wondering if I ever made said recovery disks

Goes to prove smoking is bad for your health - can't have done much for your blood pressure

Mr Sad and I had to share the last fag in the packet on the way back from Leicester today. We were speculating whether a passing police car might think we were passing a joint back and forth

I'm in a more positive frame of mind this evening - not least because my poorly mate seems yet again to have turned a corner after a weekend in which we thought we might be about to say our goodbyes. He's a trooper, I'll say that for him.

Must be all those vibes, keep 'em flowing.

Best get to bed and brace myself for the office tomorrow - oh joy.

I'd certainly make at least one set of recovery CDs/DVDs.

Other things you can do are download a copy of the Windows installation DVD from sites like filestube and after checking for malware with Avast/Malwarebytes etc.burn that to a DVD and use for installation. Download the correct version of Windows of course. See the System applet in the Control Panel. When it comes to installation, the product key/serial number will probably be blacklisted, so use your own product key/serial number and activate Windows over the net, via the System applet again.

Also, create another admin profile/user from within 'User Accounts' in the Control Panel, in case your current login/profile gets corrupted.

Also, it is not a bad idea to burn a self bootable Linux distro CD/DVD in case Windows won't boot directly. For example, Ubuntu or Kubuntu.

By the way, if anyone does bugger up their headphone socket, you can use this.

Aw snOwbeS that's good news. We had a cat go walkabout once, ad it's 'orrible thinking of them locked in a garage or whatever.

Talking of "I'll be back", I was just over on the Cult TV forum talking abut a movie I saw last Monday on Channel 4, which I watched straight after watching "Terminator: Salvation". I described it as Terminator goes to Bollywood.

I should not have been surprised by the random musical numbers, but I'm converted Check this one out.

KJ - have you been on the sauce????

SnOwY - WOOHOO - So pleased he's back. Did he return of his own volition or was it a question of sneaking up behind him with a sack?

Knackered dot com here... just been out celebrating with Mr Sad, having just completed our 19th year of purgatory - he's off to bed to watch telly now and here I am, sat on the internet... true romance
