Indeed.

Hey, Friday at last!

Sad - it might sound crazy but at least now you know you're definitely making the right decision.

Here, it's cold and miserable and I've noticed of late that I'm miserable come the end of the week. I shouldn't be at all, so it's probably a build up of stress. Must do something about it...

Jason Statham being manly and dangerous in Safe has cheered me right up.

That's something I haven't heard in a long time! they do show it apparently on UKTV but I don't like to inflict it on everyone

Congrats to ghostieboy! It's a great feeling when you pass your driving test all that potential freedom!

I'm a bit grrrrrr and rarrrrrr and arrrrrggghhhh but I'm bottling it all up and maintaining my dignity. My dignity is currently seething though!

YoungPlum is off camping this afternoon for a couple of nights at the beach. Her first camping trip, it's all a most peculiar arrangement, I thought the family who invited her would feed her and I would just offer/give them some money to contribute to expenses, but it seems not, they've made some random suggestions as to what she might bring to eat. Anyway, I better go write a list from all the texts I was sent yesterday and go get her sorted out. She isn't going til this afternoon but is so excited that I better get her ready now before she becomes unbearable

Meanwhile, I will be hunting for a car that costs deathtrap money but isn't one! Bearing in mind that I am not at all car minded, I think I will need all the luck in the world!

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend!

PS Handy, I LOVED the Liveship Trader books. I'm just sad that I've finished them and I wish that I had read them where they should have been, between the Farseers and the Tawny Man trilogy. It didn't really cause a problem but it would have been better.

I'm pleased as punch someone recognised it.

I'm home alone with snooker, the FA Cup Final, and curries in the fridge. We've had downstairs decorated, and due to moving stuff from one room to the other I can just about get in to feed the piggy (yes, her house is in the living room). I'm in the office (erm, back bedroom); it reminds me of when you move away from home, bedsit-land.

I did Sober Friday for the second time last night. I've just started on the beers (unlike Ghostie Boy I haz no car anymore, so it's lager from the off licence).

.... and for a moment there was I thinking you had decorated the downstairs for the FA cup final, all bedecked in blue and white .... come on you blues!! Then of course I realised the error of my ways!

I'm just home from work, the load was late so I managed an extra 3.5 hours, 2.5 at time and a quarter and one at double time so that's better than a kick in the teeth! I'm so tired though as it's the first full days work (as in 8 hours) that I've done in 10 years

Pity we don't get the right sports channel (Setanta) so that I could watch the FA cup final since I'm up this late anyway! I might "watch" it on the live text on bbc sports website - but that might be a tad nerd-ish/desperate

My boys are watching the footy right now, so all I'm going to tell them is that Amica's team won.

Plummy - car buying good vibes on their way. I've had my fair share of old bangers so I know how tricky this whole business is. I hope you find a safe bargain.

We've been out clothes shopping and I've decided that it's not really my thing. Either my attention span is really short or my boys are a pain in the arse to shop with. Or both.

I'll tell you, but then I'll have to shoot you and push your body into a canal....

Slightly depressed here. Just found out someone I was once very close to ( ) passed away 6 years ago. Came as a bit of a shock... kind of explains why I've not bumped into them when I thought it would be inevitable that I might at some point. Terribly sad - only 50 years old - no idea how it happened either. Pants

Some questions are probably best left unanswered.

Plummie Hope you find the perfect old banger that will run for years and give you no problems at all. If anyone deserves a run of better luck, it's you.

Knackered.... bedtime

Hi LL

Sad -

Here, I'm home alone. Batman's in Amsterdam, working, the boy's staying with a mate, and I thought it would be nice to have a day all to myself, but I can't settle. Had a bath, had a facepack in the bath, did all the nice Lushy things but I feel like I should be walking aound a garden center or something.

Weird isn't it, this home alone lark?

I resurrected my saxophone, and did some scales. I feel sorry for the local cats but at least I felt I'd done something. Parp!

PS Hi laura!

So, it's raining...and raining... and raining... but on the plus side, it means we've made some headway in moving furniture around and such. Well, when I say 'we'... mostly that's Mr Sad. I make a good director

Am seriously toying with spending all day tomorrow asleep ... but have to go to work. Arsebiscuits.

PS Hi laura!”

I've done some ironing and I'm watching The Hangover part 2. Really should've planned this better.

Sad, any chance you're coming down with something?
