Looking forward to dancing on the ceiling sometime soon.

Would say TFI Friday but I'm too late, owing to be a dirty stop out - go me! And now the sun is outand I've a whole day to put my feet up - well after I've hoovered, swept, mopped, cleaned the loos etc....

Good call - hard to refuse such a sensible request. Let's see how much I win (no ticket arrived with Batman so we've bought one today) and then we'll talk numbers.

Did you win, Bats? It's gone suspiciously quiet....

Here, I'm having one of those days where I'm not really with it. My get and go got up and went around 8.30am and it's been all downhill ever since. Mr Sad seems to be sulking (no idea why) and Little Saddette is giving me that look which means I've upset her in some way I have yet to fathom. Meanwhile, no-one actually seems to give a crap about how I'm feeling (extremely rough as it happens). So we're probably all feeling sorry for ourselves

Thanks to a fault with Ikea's website there's nearly £500 on my credit card that there shouldn't be. Or rather, not on my credit card. Either way, because of the timings involved, I may end up overdrawn this month for the first time since I started working full time. Pretty cross about it.

Going to go to bed and sulk, it seems to be fashionable this evening

Well, I did think after I posted that it would be quite funny if I won a tenner... and I did. 3 numbers - £10. Yay! So jra, how big's that morgage? Anything I can help out with?

Sad - better day today I hope.

Unfortunately my mortgage is unsurprisingly a lot larger than a tenner.

Well done for winning. Don't spend it all at once.

It's a toss up between one decent bottle of wine or two cheap ones.

Hi 24/7.

snowy - I've eaten my own weight in chocolate today so I'm fine, thank you for asking.

Morning, you choccy-munching, wine-bibbing pack of dirty stopouts!

Had a quiet weekend - housework, shopping, marking ( )

Good news is that replacement hard drive has arrived for pooter so will soon be back in the evenings/weekends. yay!

Yay for poorly computers getting better handy!

Here, instead of doing some work I've made mushroom pate. It's foul and really garlicky. I'm supposed to be doing a hospital visit tonight but I don't think there's enough parsley in the world to make me smell acceptable. I'm seriously not fit to be out in public.

In other news, the daughter missed the deadline to hand in her computing A level coursework. So that will be a fail then...

I was hoping it would be a lesson learned but she appears to be in denial. Hey ho.

Frustrated, to say the least.

Batty - can I hire you to breathe on a few people?

Well, if you eat too much garlic you can sweat it. Also, garlic can be absorbed through the skin.

Grub Smith proved that.
