Please tell me it's a spoof... "gonna get Nazi"... really????

I went to see that vampire thingy with Johnny Depp in (Tim Burton)... it left me feeling sort of 'meh'. Maybe it improves if you see it twice, or I just wasn't in the right mood for surreal....

We're over indulging.

jra - I'll feel very guilty if you miss it at the cinema and like it once you see it on DVD/TV. It definitely has a *cinema screen* feel to it and the visual stuff is good (we saw the 3D version) so it's kind of worth the ticket price for that alone. And my film reviews usually focus on jumpers (I still remember Liam Neeson's in Taken - lovely, grey, soft-looking v-neck ) so I can't be trusted. Read some proper film critics and make your mind up.

Now then, where's my PG...

M...Afternoon

So far, today has been a pyjama day. Bliss. But we're off shopping for DIY stuff and a garden bench later. C'est la vie

Not celebrating Betty Windsor here.

But we are being entertained by a local cat who seems to have found a way of getting into the house through very hard to reach windows (we think, but he might have a secret tunnel for all I know). He woke us up in the early hours by padding all over the bed, the time before that he was projecting his voice all over the kitchen at 5am, and he walked through the sitting room just now. He belongs to some people we know a little bit but it's not like you can do much about what cats get up to anyway so I'm not sure what we're going to do about him. He's very lovely but I'm not really a cat person and I don't want another one adopting me.

Our village is going Jubbly nuts, so we've been at the Sports Day this afternoon. Melony ran every race in her category and came second in the obstacle race and the sack race - yay!

And Mr M and I are going to have pie and a fillum tonight. Lovely!

Hpe everyone's having a decent bank hols.

KJ - John Cooper Clark = bloody genius. Evidently Chickentown, T**t and Beasley Street are three of my favourite things EVER.

"It's bad enough with the human race... "

I adore this, because it applies to so many individuals of my aquaintance: http://www.johncooperclarke.com/inde...oems&Itemid=56

He's so clever and so funny - and so brilliantly rude! He's actually at the Humbermouth festival in early July - am wondering if we can get a babysitter!
