I was akchooly doing quite well, and then my mum phoned to say that there were people in her kitchen. Who? How many? Men? Women? She didn't know. I sent her to ask them who they were, and off she trotted. I could hear her talking but no one else and when she came back she confirmed that they wouldn't speak to her (I really want to laugh at this point - gallows humour ). The imaginary bastards wouldn't come to the phone to speak to me either.

I went, obviously. There were no people there, obviously. Ma wasn't sure if there had been anyone there... but apparently some woman came yesterday and stole her remote...

... So I came home again. She was on the phone a while ago saying there are people in her kitchen.

I'm going to borrow that bollox jra. BOLLOX!!!

I've got Fun blasting around the house at the moment. Trying to get some energy going.

Re the interview - he thinks he did OK, but they told him they're insanely busy atm and not to worry if it's into next week befor he hears anything (!)
A bit frustrating, but at least it gives him time to think about whther he'll accept if they offer it (I suspect he will, a job's a job, but it means going back to full time work which will be a bit of a shock to the system!)

Distinctly damp down here; good job I checked ahead with the forecast and kitted us all out appropriately this morning!
