The weekend still feels long, but we had huge thunder storms this afernoon, so I hope they passed you by Amica.

Having splashed our way home, we're now getting a bit pissed so I should probaby stop there.

Talking about funny - my mum (she has dementia and confabulates a great deal) has informed me that she's running a ballet school in her house. She's never been a dancer so I've no idea where this has come from but she's going into amazing detail. She's got about 20 girls practicing in her kitchen right now, apparently, and called to say that she'll therefore be unable to have the Chinese delegation to dinner.

I told her I'd let them know on her behalf.

Here all is pootling along in dramatic fashion. I won't go into it all but mehhhh and pffffft, waaaaaah and bleuuaaarggghhh pretty much some things up. Apart from those aspects, things are fine here. I have to find another job though as the hours I'm having to work mean I'm having to rely on other people too much which isn't fair on them. Trouble is with it being the end of the tax year, there doesn't seem to be much around, not that there ever is here! I'm making a start on it though!

I also survived an unplanned solo overnight excursion to Brighton (not good for Palace fans) after (ahem) falling asleep on the train following a day out in Brussels. Left home at 5 am, got home at 5 am. As snoWbes would say, whatasillysausage.com.
