What I do hope is that it shows his versatility.

By the way, when I click on the link to his page on Decca Records nothing comes up. Just the list of their artists and Joe doesn't feature!

Yeah I noticed that too and had minor heart failure but I reckon what with the promo vid stuff (that's the technical term by the way) they maybe putting together his bio and profile for the site.

Do we have definite info regarding Decca? So many threads and posts have happened that I am beginning to lose track.

I know what you mean Well there was the announcement on Tyne Tees news but his tweet about the 'filming' is on their twitter page.

http://twitter.com/#!/DeccaRecords

I'd love a clear press announcement about the whole thing but I guess that's not how it's done. We have lots of press stuff about Universal but not about Decca?

Hello, another one of the motley crew returning

Not that I ever stopped supporting Joe, I just struggled to find time to come on DS but as lots of people have said, new win, new label, new album - and new DS AT part

It's good to be back

Isn't that typical of all things Joe - no official announcement, just the same info appearing in a few different places so we have the pleasure of piecing it all together LOL

The first time I heard Decca mentioned was on the NE Tonight News this week, which is always a reliable source

Howdy *waves*

I think the programme is a mix of live and pre-recorded so I'm not sure if Joe will be in the studio or on the phone

I just wonder what wor Joe and Tel will make of each other's sense of humour

I reckon they could get on - Joe has quite a 'wry' side which we got to see a bit of in PSOTS

I like Tel's tunes so far - some interesting new artists and oldies - makes a change.

I'd like to see a bit of imagination and songs that reflect Joe's personality. Don't mind some 'covers' as long as they are interesting' some on the list that's been put out are good- I wouldn't like IDAD or SOTR - Just hear them too much.

It's puzzling that that list has been put out there when Joe hasn't even got into the studio and he's always said himself that you never know what's going to happen until you get in there.

Do you reckon they might just be putting out feelers?

I did think Terry was struggling with Joe's surname

And my ears pricked up at the thought of Joe sitting at the 'Elton John' piano

We'd love a song please Joe!!!!

Yes, same here. I'm hoping that's only an indicative song list and that there is scope to change it round once Joe gets in the studio.

I love the thought of a full length version of Dance With My Father, I thought the acoustic version Joe sang at TCT this week was stunning. Also I'd definitely love Nessun Dorma to be on the new album.

I don't mind either way about SOTR but I'm not keen on IDAD, unless it's an acknowledgement to MT in the future maybe.

I would love the album to include one or two acoustics and I would absolutely love them to include at least one live track - can you imagine if they recorded something live next week at Bents Park and included it on the album

Ha ha, practice for PSTOS included singing stuff off Italian menus to get an idea for singing in another language and another style

I swear if Joe gets me to like IDAD then he is some kind of Jedi - I would prefer something less 'done'.

I can think of songs I'd prefer to be on the new album - a live track (pretty please if anyone influential is reading this LOL)

With an orchestra - that'll be great!

Think Terry likes Joe! - resistance is futile.

Ha ha, agreed

Joe's audition version of DWMF had nearly 300,000 additional views on YT during PSTOS - a good choice for the new album

And probably a good choice if they want to take him elsewhere
