With the happily titled intro before programme starts "This is Scotland" -- STV must have the "cooking" bug at the moment - before they were teling us how beautiiful Scotland is (as if we didn't know) and then reviving Scottish Passport but telling their viewers check the site out - fair enough its ideas but really??

Why not cover more sports other than footy ie ITV4 covers Knockhill (oh look its in Scotland) but STV ignores it! Where has STV's Rugby coverage went? Or is that now with Sky/BBC/BT Sport? I do see the Aviva Rugby on but other than that nothing!

.....Yet I see stickers around here telling us that the BBC "misrepresents Scotland" .... irony is BBC Scotland does alot more effort in Scottish programming yet STV its minimalistic (no big dramas or anything ... other than catchphrase ... oh dear!)

The thing that gets me is the logic of breaking up some ITV shows, why do it? As the example mentioned Wild Ireland makes an appearance again after what a week or 2 off? Do the STV controllers know how to run a schedule let alone break up shows from ITV for no real reason (again since its an ITV programme it runs non-stop) similar to some STV shows (irony of all so far run without issue apart from People's History for footy but no announcement or announced on air schedule change), also noted that Gino has incomplete episodes listed 5-7, so why do this if someone has series linked this? STV makes no sense in this at all - if they are buying in shows from ITV (or whatever way it works in TV land), show the full lot not just decide - leave it here, return later! ... UK programmes are not like US shows where it has a midseason break or anything like that but it seems more of STV is doing this very thing but on ITV shows but the problem again is there is no announcement made on air at the end of the programmes (this will return in 2 weeks time), STV announcers just seem to forget about telling the viewer when its returning or does someone at STV fail to give these announcers a date of returning of these shows? STV should know how to run a channel but it seems more like these days no one has a clue on how to run it...but they magically run their locals without issue I guess but then again I believe most of the feed is coming out of the Clyde but splits for "local"


Also I noticed STV have 2 blocks of "telshopping" on some nights? ie after 12am ... then "after midnight" then Nightscreen then Teleshopping? So is the stark reality is STV after 12am just going to become "teleshopping", they may as well go the full hog since MTV/VIVA do it these days and manage to get away with it!

Animal 999 STV must be pulling at straws, throw up shows randomly to fill spots - yet they can't even complete other shows they have from ITV! - we know why on Thursday The Chase is on .... its so its in time for them to throw on "teleshopping" after midnight ... Is STV that scared to run anything after 12am?

Looks like it as that would be an ideal time to run off some of those 30 min. missing shows - the vast majority on that list are only 30 mins. anyway.

Its just downright lazy STV - plus with New Year around the corner I doubt they will start anything new! Even if they do they will quickly forget where they started idiots!

Oh well its safe to say at least STV don't advertise any late night material as it seems this week they have gone boring! Surprised that the only one night STV goes through non stop was The Presidential Election in the USA but of course that was the ITV and not the STV team (according to their site)

Oh we should know by now the only time STV and ITV go non-stop during the night is if its an election thats it! (OK ITV still has some programming on after 12am compared to its counterpart that lives on Teleshopping).

Yes and amazingly spotted there is no Countrywise on STV again ... well done you bunch of idiots! (even if its a repeat it baffles my mind who on earth writes their schedule!), quite possibly wouldn't be surprised that the whole lot of them at STV Towers have Sky/Cable to catch up on shows they ain't shown yet!

Oh well new year will soon be upon us I wonder if STV will buck up its ideas on scheduling? I doubt we will probably playing "give us a clue"

As said last week - has STV just given up or what? Look back at what you posted why not FINISH off some progrmming instead STV after Scotland Tonight or pending after ITV shows, I do find this pretty shameful of STV just to give up before/after 12am! I can understand to a degree "no audience is there no point" but you don't see BBC/C4/5/Challenge and Pick giving up, saying that for Pick at least I believe Sky are investing in the channel yet before it was pretty much dead! Seems like STV is going that very way - run til 12am put on teleshopping put on random/murder she wrote/jezza then run a block again of teleshopping really STV? STV its nearly 2017 you shouldn't be like this at all - for a company that announces profits its baffling as to what they actually invest in as there has not been new drama in a while (apart from catchphrase), they buy in ITV shows (the 8pm slot ones from ITV) that hardly get a complete run in FULL then what the hell are this lot really doing it makes no sense at all!

Fierce on Monday AND Tuesday? are these repeated episodes? If so why air them over 2 nights? STV's shambolic scheduling after 11pm is getting worse not better! I see no Countrywise which appeared couple weeks ago "late" has never appeared again! So just to re-iterate can someone at STV explain these scheduling after 11pm? Why air a show randomly and then to air another show randomly but have it on over 2 nights this time? The channel is making no sense to me with this and if its just in regards of Christmas/2017 around corner so these shows going on for the sake of it - STV in 2017 I ain't got much hope in hell for them improving on opt out shows (after 8pm on ITV) as they have little regard in them at all it seems like! As well as 2017 STV officially launches its other local channels under the STV2 brand name (basically simulcasting from Glasgow and opt outs for News thats it), Yet come to think about it the STV executive denied it was a backdoor STV2 (locals) and what happens they announce it as STV2 (backdoor), oh this lot do tell lies but no one glances!
