As for Love/Hate I only seen 5 mins off one episode and switched off when they aired it .... surprising as you say ... where is the scottish "opt outs" they meant to provide ... regarding making cheaply made programmes and imports ... it shows really how bad that station is getting or should it be gone?
Supposedly I am sure it was mentioned earlier in this thread STV admitted that there is "lack of drama" on the channel ... so in short rely on ITV for some and "import" the rest from other "English" speaking countries....and that what makes STV great? ...STV are living in a bubble and it will eventually burst (if not done so already)
EDIT: If your lucky and have Virgin/Sky or a PS3 you can avoid what STV throw at you and go to ITV1 .... unknown yet when it will be broadcast ... I personally estimate 3-6 months...
Oh yes may as well add this ... so did anyone catch "Only an Excuse?" see them ripping into STV?? "missed this programme catch up on[b] STV./PLAYER[b] about 10 times and going to "tiny writing" and then the "phone in competition" answer this simple question....and win £1.25... whats the famous pub in corrie (coronation st)
a) rovers return
b) queen vic
c) .... football club
d) .... football club
calls cost £1.30... that was the best bit out of "only an excuse" but still it comes across as a good point... what is this channel really all about now??

I would've thought BBC iPlayer would be the place for 'Only and Excuse', but then why let facts get in the way of a story?

... STV may as well pull plug on us and just give us news from Glasgow similar to BBC if thats the way they are doing it, I am just about had enough with their news everyone else has a News bulletin for their area ... Aberdeen/dundee still split! - put it back originally under ONE similar to Glasgow/Edinburgh and give us the new titles that these two already have..... its a disgrace that STV is meant to "network" with the rest of Scotland but the STV North still waits and i aint that interested going to their site to "catch up" on the news for my area or aberdeen - be better reading from my local paper at this rate!
