MONDAY 16TH - 8.00-8.30pm - ITV: Cornwall with Caroline Quentin. STV: SCOTTISH PASSPORT.
10.30pm-5.30am - ITV: When Ali Came To Britain/That Sunday Night Show/Law & Order uk/River Monsters/The Zone/Jeremy Kyle. STV: SCOTLAND TONIGHT/THAT SUNDAY NIGHT SHOW/FILM:YOU, ME & DUPREE/JEREMY KYLE/IN PLAIN SIGHT/NIGHTSCREEN/JEREMY KYLE.
Verdict: Scottish viewers miss out on the Muhammad Ali documentary (it's shown on Friday night on ITV4) and of course the Law & Order repeat (as the original isn't even being screened). A bit of a mixed bag with an odd movie choice for a Monday night, so ITV just edge this one. ITV WIN.
TUESDAY 17TH - 10.35pm-5.30am - ITV: Benidorm/Homes From Hell/The Zone/Nightscreen. STV: SCOTLAND TONIGHT/FILM:EYES WIDE SHUT/JEREMY KYLE/VET SCHOOL BITES/CROSSING JORDAN/NIGHTSCREEN.
Verdict: STV picks up ITVs NIGHTSCREEN through the night again, but offers a reasonable alternative earlier on. STV WIN.
WEDNESDAY 18TH - 7.30-10.00pm - ITV:Cup Football. STV: MIDSOMER MURDERS - John Nettles.
10.30pm-5.30am - ITV: Football highlights/Police Camera Action/The Zone/Nightscreen. STV: SCOTLAND TONIGHT/FILM: OUTLAW JOSEY WALES/JEREMY KYLE/BEYOND EXPLANATION/FILM: CRIMINAL/NIGHTSCREEN.
Verdict: STV miss out on the football and of course highlights, play catch up with MIDSOMER and offer a couple of decent movies later on. DRAW.
Conclusion: If THE NIGHTSHIFT wasn't bad enough, it looks like STV have wriggled NIGHTSCREEN into their through the night schedules too. But all things considered, there have been worse starts to the week than this!”

I did notice Nightscreen making a "comeback" on STV they must be using that as "temporary" measure

I also want to CONGRATULATE STV for the ITV Lunchtime News was "switched" with a testcard halfway through the discussion of The Cruise Liner accident....I had to switch during that "noise" of a testcard... to ITV1 993 on SKY to continue report ... I believe or so I have been told NO APOLOGY from STV
.... thank god they are more converting to ITV1 as STV today turned into a disaster...oh well
