Can someone answer this question - I thought if you were in the "media" you were not allowed to participate in anything ie "olympic torch" ... I just find this odd that John McKay of STV is able to (and STV creates a buzz) and yet I have hardly heard any of the other UK broadcasters having any involvement with the run? Can someone answer that question - as I thought that no-one from the media was not allowed and it was down to everyday people (be disabled or able bodied)
EDIT: or was it possible for the management of STV fill out his application form and when a question asked "do you work in any media organisation? --- please tick YES or NO" - they simply ticked NO??
Its been annoying me more now since they put it on STV News couple weeks ago and I personally don't think its right for anyone in the "media" taking part in
