- just googled it, seems it looks like even Film 4 has aired it (not known date sadly) -- we should remember that STV don't do much in "films" these days sadly, it is only when it suits them - yet the irony of it you would think like some of the programmes after Scotland Tonight (STV)/News at 10 (ITV) screen a film afterwards, if they were seen to be keen airing films they would but it looks like after a certain time STV would rather the viewer put up with Nightscreen/Nightshift than do anything really which is baffling to me - seems like also STV aint keen on airing (possibly unknown times 007 films been on repeat) but yet you think they would stick with it since its ITV airing it but I guess not -- STV needs to get its act together in 2015 and air half decent films and actually publicise them than just shoving them completely off schedule or not bothering with it.
As far as I even remember I am pretty sure when Grampian existed you still got films on at night but this is just laziness with STV controllers, why not just save the bother of it all and just put on "teleshopping" instead and make a buck or two of that since thats what most channels seem to do these days (and that too is pathetic)
Another thing i'll pick up on and annoys me to hell with this lot was at end of On Weirs Way with David is how they constantly plug in at the end of it "to catch up on the original series we will tell you how at the end" - we already know its on the STV Player FFS, is this all STV can really plug is them rabbiting on catching up on "old" programming on its player, yet looking at ITV and their ad for ITV Player most of the time its about say I'm a Celeb or other programming (say ITV2/3) but for STV to push down your throat their player and that STV Glasgow is taking the biscuit”

I guess STV are being seen to fill their quota re OFCOM with all that Nightshift tat, but you're right it's a disgrace. They seem hell bent on wanting to start Nightshift as close to midnight as possible at the weekend, to the point where they will not show a film that is being screened on ITV. All this does is knock everything out of sync as they are always running behind/not screening films at all.
As for constantly plugging old Weir's Way, it's a pain too.
