GPS Tracker/Pedometer at Decathlon
Izak
16-07-2011
I was in Decathlon today and had a look at their range of GPS trackers/Pedometers.

I spotted this one which sounds quite good: http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/keymaze-500-52466045/

As we go out walking quite a bit in the countryside, a GPS tracker would be a nice thing. I'm also very keen on photography and was wondering if I could take the tracking information and put them into photos once I get home.

Can anyone advise?

P.S. I've just downloaded a freeware program called GeoSetter if that helps. Looks like it'll link up GPS tracks to photos

A Symbian or Android smartphone at £50 will do the same, plus hundreds of extras.

For outdoor activities waterproofing is important. I would want at least IPX7 standard which puts most smartphones out of the frame.
