Favourite Performers/Entertainers
There are of course so many artists out there. But not every artist can be a great performer. Artists that go out there and put on a hell of a show.
Which are your favourite performers? |

Although many put her down (and understandably so sometimes) for not singing live all the time, I think I'd have to say Britney Spears. I've never seen anyone with so much stage presence, I always have my eyes on her no matter what she does on the stage - whether it be dancing or just something simple she just has a complete hold over me for those few minutes! This is all in my opninion of course before someone bashes her for not singing live...

Beyoncé - always gives 110% at least on stage and is mesmerising to watch, her last tour was incredible and if her stints at the festivals were anything to go by then the next tour will be impossibly more awesome.
I also like Lady Gaga - although when I saw the Monster Ball on TV she kept saying f*cking all the time when there wasn't really much need for it. Jennifer Lopez - She's fun and put a lot of energy into her shows, I'd love to see her do a full-blown tour but it won't be anytime soon since she's filing for divorce. Pink - The Funhouse Tour on DVD was jaw-droppingly awesome and I still kick myself to this day for not buying tickets to go see her. Definitely going to see her live when she's got a new album/tour in the works. Madonna - She's nearly treble my age and yet she can still display more energy on stage than half her contemporaries, she's incredible and I get tired just watching her give it her all on stage. |

MADONNA - Sets the boundaries and the standards in entertainment and music!
Cannot wait to see her on her next tour, her performances are out of this world! Its one of the reasons why she is the goddamn Queen! ![]() Also, Janet Jackson - Love to watch some routines and videos back, fantastic performer! Janelle Monae - Just so full of high energy, she really brings the music to life on the stage! P!nk - The FUnhouse Tour and specifically, grammies 2010! none like it!Beyonce - glasto 2011 was OWNED by Bey, and she has grown so so much as a performer Britney Spears - Back in 2003 she gave some of the best performances of her career, her VMA shows are monumental also, and even today she is an entertainer like no other! Kylie Minogue - While heavily influenced in her shows by Madonna, she has really come into her own. The Showgirl tour is one of the most iconic in her career, and even X2008 and Aphrodite were fantastic tours by the Pop Princess Christina Aguilera - She is the voice, and the Stripped Tour and Back To Basics she brought the house down, I truly hope she tours again with new material very soon Robyn - Has simplicity and so much energy with her performances, absolutely fantastic and deeply underrated BJORK - Just out of this world shows, her recent Biophilia concerts are just proof that she is completely out there and one of the best still today! Kate Bush - While she only did one tour in her whole life, her performances live are and were like no other at all in the game! Lady gaga - While what i saw of The Monster Ball i think was a bit...meh! Her Born This Way promo shows are really eccentric! Just wish that her stans would be more embracive and there werent so many fan wars to dissolve the love :-/. But yeah she has grown a lot performance wise anyway. Those are the standard setters and the best entertainers IMO! |

Britney Spears - Has always been my fave performer and always will, she's so fun and exciting to watch (eff what anyone else says), she's set plenty of boundaries and is the true definition of a true performer.
Others: J-Lo Nicki Minaj Rihanna PCD Girlicous Beyonce |

Kate Bush is a fantastic and slightly underated performer. These days she is an underated artist. Extravangent and Dark along with her weird unique singing voice. She is easily one of the most influential British females of all time.
Celine Dion - I have been watching her vegas shows and she is incredible. Her themes are great but not amazing to the point that it can overshadow her and make it over the top. She really connects with the audience and she fully takes advantage of her French mother tongue as well. |

Michael Jackson without a doubt. The greatest performer to ever grace a stage. From the age of 10, yow knew he had it all, the charisma, the voice, the stage presence, his dancing and his overall energy makes him such a brilliant entertainer and performer. No one has done it better and other performers pale in comparison. The Bad Tour is the best tour I have ever seen. There are some clips on you tube that are mesmerizing.
Jane Jackson is also amazing. The Velvet Rope Tour is one of the best tours I have ever seen. Great dancing and theatricality and energetic performance, you can see that Britney was influenced by both Janet and Michael. Beyonce is the best performer right now. No one is close to her levell or entertaining and performing to a live crowd. she makes you excited and the I AM Tour was amazing. |

For me it was The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. One of the most underrated bands of all time. Great musicians and a superb frontman & showman in Alex Harvey!
Some of their stuff. Always well worth a look and listen regardless if you have seen them before or not ![]() Midnight Moses http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNwLxwZHMOw Vambo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0X362odPkcs Delilah http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0fT9BHpImI |
