Most of them have an existing business to invest in. That was the whole premise of this series and I believe a great factor in who was fired on certain weeks (i.e. not necessarily the contestant in the Boardroom that had been the weakest that week or weakest until that point but the one whose business LAS was less keen on investing in).
The edits have been no kinder to Tom than to Susan.
