what's your favorite meal?
So what is your ultimate favorite meal at home or out in a restaurant?

I have lots of favorites but then find that I go off and on them, or if I eat out I find that some restaurants will make the dish differently to others.
At home I would say a lovely chille con carne with good quality mince, my own secret sauce and plenty of kidney beans. I don't eat out that often at the moment (blame the recession) but I do like a good curry and I suppose I would go for a really well-made pizza. I like italian food. |

Cannot choose.
Pizza, fish & chips, curry, sweet and sour pork. Obviously not all at the same time.

At home, it's roast chicken - but we're having problems finding decent chickens, we're checking out all the local butchers one by one cos all supermarket chickens are tasteless.
When eating out - tournedos rossini. *drool* |

I always peruse the menu, comment on how lovely everything sounds and choose squid or scallops to start, duck for main course and if it's on the menu, cheesecake for dessert.

A mushroom or spinach balti. Lots of naan. No rice. Don't like indian restarant sweets though, so tend to just have the main course.
