IMO it is one of the best ready made lasagnes you can buy. It has always been a staple standby in the freezer and is something I always buy if I'm in Lidls. Not lucky enough to have a Lidls that close by at the moment but if I'm travelling to get shopping always make sure I buy some to bring back.

If I go to Lidl I normally end up coming back with random objects from the mad aisle.

If I went next week it might be 2 Lasagnes and a weathercock for example..

Yes , Lidls do 2 different sizes of lasagnes and both are excellent value for money, I have paid 2-3 times as much for other branded lasagne and none were as good as the lidls.

Is the meat nice though?

Is it good quality?

Does it have lumps of gristle and yucky bits?

Is it better than Marks and Spencer's? :O

Meat is very nice and the cheesey sauce is so creamy and delicious, you also get a nice helping off cheese on top.

I would say its as good as the M&S one.

Worst one imo is Findus its revolting.

Agree with all of this except to say I think its better than the M&S one thats just my opinion of course but I would buy the Lidls one over the M&S one any day.

Tesco and Asda's are enough to you off for life so I had avoided supermarket lasagne for ages.

I was pleasantly shocked how good the Lidl one was when I was last rushed for a ready meal.

Is it fresh or frozen? What's the weight and price?
I like ASDA ES fresh and that is £2.63 for 400g.

It's £2.69 for 1kg and it's very nice, commended by the Good Housekeeping Institute.

Yes, it is rather good.

Chuck some grated parmesan, a few shakes of Tabasco and some grated black pepper before putting it in the oven.

Very probably. I've not eaten an M&S one as I find M&S food very very overrated.
Do M&S do a 1kg lasagne for less that £3?
