8 minutes just enough time to get nuked twice by those dastardly Soviets.

I think Jordan made a mistake in going against the rest of her alliance, so she should have put Cassi and Shelly up. I think they are both floaters who are hard to trust as well. Of those two I would prefer Cassi to stay as Shelly is a bit boring. Cassi has no chance of winning the game as she is too honest, but more importantly she stirs things up a which is good.

i didn't understand why adam didn't just act like he voted for the veterans? he is supposedly a big brother obsessive yet he comes out and admits he lied? is it me or was that a horrible move? you never want to just show your hand. dr. will would pass out from such horrible gameplay.
he had the upperhand in the lie from being one of the first ones with the veterans alliance and could of easily said he stayed true. these newbies have no clue what they're doing, after 1 week they are now slaves to the veterans when they could of been at the top cuz they had the numbers ahahahahaa. so sad. basically all of them are just throwing themselves to the veterans to be their puppets cuz they already have no other moves to make. |

Being honest is more interesting and complex, but in the game I suppose they are all expected to lie. The only newbies lying flat out now seem to be Shelly and Kalia, yet I don't find either that interesting.

Yeah I thought the exact same thing, if Adam had said that he'd voted to evict Keith, I think he had the most chance out of him, Shellie and Kalia of being believed by the vets. So it was a pretty dumb move in my eyes.
I'd really like Cassi and Dom to stay out of the newbies...although I'm pretty sure one of them will be gone by Friday. Also now that Jeff and Jordan are in a house made up mostly of people I like, I really don't care very much for them this season so far. At the moment I wouldn't care if one of them went home. |

As I said elsewhere Jordan reminds me a bit of Nikki. They can look alike but also while both might have a cute smile they can be quite sullen and stuck up looking.
Cassi looks in a very vulnerable position in the house right now. This to me is a drawback of the American series where HMs decide everything. You want the HMs who aren't so popular in the house to stay awhile and not be evicted. Keith is gone and Cassi may follow in the next week or two the way things are going. In the British series people like Jon, Freddie and Marcus, though disliked in the house, could continue because of public support. |

I wouldn't mind keeping Don or Cassi too because they both have some personality and some character.
But I think at least one of them will be gone, probably Don. In that episode I liked Rachel and Porsche's developing friendship and Rachel sticking up for her. Nice for Rachel to have a female friend.

I'm not sure if was Rachel sticking up for her, more a way to just keep her with their group even more. Did Rachel actually reply to Cassi and say she thought Porsche was ok? Rachel doesn't like Cassi anyway and I doubt she has any great friendship with Porsche beyond being an ally in the game who she thinks she can control. Funniest remark 'there are sides?' Now that was a lie that everyone knew was a lie, quite funny.

But the voters in the UK version evict the interesting characters and then complain that its boring when the show is coming to an end. At least in the US, theres likely to be interesting characters towards the end even if they aren't all popular.
Imagine if Britney from the last series was in the UK one, or Daniele, Jen or Jess from BB8. They all would have been out within the first few weeks. Only Jordan would have done well because she isn't a particularly big character and not threatening to other women. I know there are a few cases like starry mentioned that the interesting characters stay a while, but with the exception of BB3 UK (and to an extent BB7 where they brought back old HMs), you can see from all the series' final that the majority left were the ''nice'' ones who weren't particularly big characters throughout the show and couldn't warrant people picking up the phone to evict them. The penultimate week (or mid-point of the final week, I forget) of BB11 showed this completely...we lost 3/4 of the biggest characters in Coirin, Sam and John James because they put everyone up for eviction. Then we were stuck with a really boring final, I can't even remember who came second? |

That's more because it was a vote to evict and not a vote to save. You can get some lively characters lasting a while, Dave I thought was actually one of the biggest characters in the series.

then on the other side in the uk version you can have fans who keep someone in because they are a good looking guy or something, but then it also works really well because you look at if the housemates had the power people like halfwit would of been thrown out early or rachel, etc i prefer the public vote and think more often than not it does a good job in eliminations. (it's not perfect but nothing is) |

Just watched the episode; realised that I could watch it on my television through my PS3 rather than on my laptop, so i was happy.
I think Jordan made the right decision- Cassi and Shelly are not going to be as competitive as Adam and Dominic. I just hope that either Adam or Shelly go this week- Cassi & Dominic make for interesting telly. |
