Iplayer on BT Vision pausing.
I wonder if anyone can help or has any suggestions?
I used to watch most of my programmes like Eastenders etc, on the BBC Replay section of the BT Vision, which I liked. Now if I watch any of the IPlayer shows, they tend to stop half way, and every time I start back at the beginning they get stuck again, I end up giving up and now am not watching so many things as used too. Has anyone else experienced problems like this? |

Yes - I've watched the Apprentice twice and both times it paused 15 minutes before the end, then returned to the menu. Restarting it didn't remember where I'd been up to (very frustrating). However, after fast forwarding through it did complete.
I ended up recording The Apprentice and watching that way - which does reduce the benefit of BT Vision somewhat. I'd no such problems with Replay. |

Yes, I have had the same problem, but unlike mfr it was not a case of third time lucky - I couldn't get the programme to complete at all, and it would stop and return to the menu at exactly the same point in the programme. (It was an episode of Lead Balloon.)
Like both of you I had no such problems with the old BBC Replay. I do wonder whether it is BT's problem or BBC iPlayer's. Next time it happens I think I will try watching the same programme on the PC to see if the same thing happens. |

Same here, some programs pause and continue with audio over HDMI becoming distorted at that point.
On the second black box due to audio problems over HDMI on the first. Replacement was fine until the Iplayer update was applied. As this was an engineer replacement I phoned BT to explain and they promised a call back from the back desk which never happened. Actions such as changing channels, fast forward and switching between Iplayer and live tv all cause the audio to become distorted until either the box is turned off and on again or the t.v input cycled to another input and then back. |

Is there any way on iPlayer (when it's working :sleep
you can browse all the titles in alphabetical order like you could on BBC Replay ??I'd rather scroll through one list rather than going through each of 9 or 10 channels individually and scrolling through all the days and times to see what's been on recently... The "search" button is fine if you know exactly what you want to watch, but sometimes you like to "window shop"
