Any Keane fans here?

I am a huge Keane fan, and I just wanted to know if there were any other Keane fans out there.

I absolutely adore Tom Chaplin's voice, and I like that their sound has slowly progressed with each album. I think my favourite album is probably Under The Iron Sea. I love Hamburg Song, it really touches me every time I hear it.

I also love Hopes and Fears and Perfect Symmetry. Night Train, I guess you could say is my least favourite album of theirs, but I still do appreciate it.

So, I was just wondering. Are you a fan of Keane? If so, what drew you to them? And what is your favourite album/song?

(If there's already a thread like this. Forgive me)

I used to like them but they sort of went a bit weird and disappeared from the scene for ages. They tried to change their style in a way that didn't suit Tom's voice IMO. I have no idea what they're up to now. Somewhere Only We Know is my favourite song of theirs, very epic chorus. I'd love to see them back and doing well again.

I still think they are great. Their last album not so much though; but hopefully they go back to their roots and return with a corker of an album.

I love Keane. I heard Somewhere Only We Know way back when it was first out, got Hopes and Fears and loved basically every track on there. I've seen them live twice, Tom Chaplin's voice really is amazing.

Under The Iron Sea is my favourite album, but my favourite tracks would either be Bedshaped or She has no time.

I'd have to disagree. I think Tom's voice has A LOT of range and he's able to sing different types of songs. For example. He can sing a song like Hamburg Song perfectly.

And then completely change it up and sing a song like Spiralling effortlessly. His voice is able to handle different types of sounds.

I also think you should hear Perfect Symmetry (unless you already have) because it really shows off Tom Chaplin's range.

Everybody's Changing and Somewhere Only We Know are songs I'm absolutely in love with. Can't say I've heard much else from them.

I love Keane. Tom Chaplin has a very very good voice. Their songs are very engaging, haunting, melancholy and touching. I like the messages in their songs and the way they make you feel. I hope their new album puts the back in the public consciousness. They are just as good as Coldplay and their songs deserve to be well known. Spiralling is a tune.

Spiralling. A brilliant single, probably their best. Of course, most people will remember them from when they really were in vogue with the singles from 'Hopes & Fears'.

I know. It does annoy me a bit. People only seem to know their Hopes & Fears era.

Which I guess isn't so bad, I just wish radio actually played their newer singles.

"Somewhere Only We Know" was used for a best bits compilation for Big Brother 5. I loved that song immediately and bought the album.

Under The Iron Sea is my favourite Keane album, particularly the lesser known tracks "Try Again" & "Hamburg Song".

I absolutely love Keane and I really love all of their albums. Under The Iron Sea is probably my favourite though, Crystal Ball is one of my favourite songs ever.
I think Hopes and Fears is my least favourite Keane album, which is an unusual opinion from what I've read.

Only got into them when my sister bought me Hopes and Fears as a Xmas present. It's excellent and my favourite tracks on it are Somewhere Only We know and Bedshaped. They're very talented.
