A slightly fuller explanation is that Youview does not support streamed IPTV channels (like Sports Tonight) other than those that form part of the Youview service (like Now TV). Youview doesn't have to support the LCN 225+ channels as they don't claim to be Freeview HD compliant.

That said Arqiva, one of the Youview shareholders, has bought into one of the Freeview HD streamed providers and there is speculation that could mean that the Youview box will start to support these channels. However AFAIK this is pure Digital Spy conjecture, with no basis in evidence.

I'd say it's good conjecture as it's just embarassing for Arqiva.

I noticed the Telefrance announcement the other day when I was doing an audit for my streamed channel list on my website. The other messages have only recently been added (well since 9pm Wednesday when I last looked).

It must have been fairly abrupt for Vision TV Network - they had only recently been adding extra coming soon screens on some services.

Perhaps the streamed channel section needs a shuffle up...

Little note: 225 (Vision TV Network) and 227 (Sports Tonight) have been renamed 'Connect 1' and 'Connect 2' since the respective channels went off air last month.

Sorry to bump, has anyone got an up-to-date list (or link to such a list) of compatible tv's that are known to work with the streaming channels? Specifically Sony or Samsung tv's.

I've recently updated my list (scroll down to point 3 and see the list) http://www.a516digital.com/2013/11/w...-streamed.html

Vision is to be re-launched using Synapse's backend.

From next Tuesday (14th) it seems that CCTV (226) and Propeller TV (229) now have the same programmes running. Anyone have a clue as to why this is?

My sony tv, that previously said tv player was not compatible, has today decided that it will load the channel selection page. However, when I pick a channel it just gets stuck on please wait. A step in the right direction though.

Propeller TV (ch. 229) having some problems right now - Just seems to be a 'Service currently unavailable' caption.

It's been like that for several weeks. Propeller continues via satellite as normal though.

Looks like it has been deleted now, although I'm not confident enough of that to post it in the changelog yet.
