I did feel him just ignoring Bagg's hand to be rather purile. Other than that it was karma for him bullshitting his way to the final

Claude is an arrogant, obnoxious, condescending, cold, callous, negative, pessimistic and unfriendly vulture who, being a vulture, has no charisma or charm. How the hell he made it to where he is I don't know... I can only imagine him being an accountant, a financial adviser, a guy who is just at the desk doing computer work all the time... or okay maybe he could design products but I certainly can't imagine him presenting them.

I would not buy something from Claude and Tkakuk would struggle to sell me something because he has an element of weirdness and I'd feel a bit uncomfortable around him. That Paul guy who doesn't even work for Alan could sell me something. Interestingly, many of the contestants of the first two seasons could sell me something easily (I have only watched the first two properly so far); much more so than Claude. As a customer, I feel quite sure that I would not be pleased with Claude's service.

Stella who put blood sweat and tears into winning last year, went in and worked at Viglen I believe. She was reported by personal contacts in here to have been treated like a glorified PA. So unhappy was she with the persons she had to work with that she gave notice to quit three months ago. Lord Sugar whose mentorship was by his own admission the true prize, hardly spent time with Stella at all over a whole year. This was the prize for which Stella gave up a job in a top investment bank.

No doubt to avoid nationwide bad publicity, Stella was offered a job in another part of the Sugar empire.

I'd be interested to know. He was a lot toned down in the latest season, whereas in Season 6 he was just an arsehole. I'd hate to think how he went about "global troubleshooting." How do you convince people to go with you with that attitude?

He takes over failed or failing businesses, I believe. So in that situation they don't maybe have a lot of choice.

I think he ratcheted up the a-holeness to compensate for Paul Kelmsy leaving.
Claude has seemed quite human on "Your Fired" and generally has a smile and 'good luck' for the finalists when walking past them on leaving LordSurAlun's briefing.

Yes, I noticed the odd shot of him smiling. Someone trying to convince us that he is vaguely human after all? Sorry, but it doesn't wash with me and I don't care if he wants to be loved by us. That Paul Kemsley was a nasty piece of work as well. And then there's the charmer from Viglen. Is it any wonder the Apprentices don't end up staying too long or that Stella gave in her notice?

I somehow doubt Claude is going to lose any sleep over what you or I think of him

I'm not so sure about that. He was making a big effort putting on those smiles to impress us. If he kept on the hard face, then we'd know he doesn't give a monkey's what we think of him. I think he wants to be loved. Awwwwwwww.
