I am asking because the idea of 100% natural ingredients appeals to me. I've tried brands like Clinique and Clarins and they have all made my skin worse. She has gorgeous skin and am tempted to buy a couple of products. Was wondering how anyone who had bought from her website found the products to be? Thanks x

No, but they are worth a try if other cosmetics are inrritating your skin.
Also you may wish to consider Neals Yard, they are focussed on organic natural stuff.

Do bear in mind the fact that something is 100% natural or organic does not mean it is less likely to irritate sensitive skin. Many ingredients touted as 'natural' are highly irritant. You might do better considering well tested, unscented hypoallergenic products.

That's not surprising Clinique's products are pretty harsh. Someone once told me you could use their their face toner to take off nail polish. I've not tried susan's products, but I have tried a few natural skin care products and I love "Good Things" which is available at boots.

If you do try Susan's products let us know how it goes.

Liz Earle products are 100% natural, and are AMAZING. Their customer service is exemplary. Website: http://uk.lizearle.com/ (check out the reviews) Liz is in her 50's, btw.

Edit: Yikes - just saw Susan's website and it's remarkably Liz Earle-like! The website, the products, the philosophy.....

Good Lord, so it is. Oh dear...

OP, I recommend Lush and Good Things if you're after all-natural ingredients. I'm not sure if Simple is all-natural, but I think their philosophy is also along those lines. There are a lot of smaller companies who specialise in this area, though I do recall one poster here saying they'd bought from Tropic.

Or you could be like me, go totally natural and forgo all poisons and potions. Nice skin and you save a packet, too.

Op, take a look at this thread: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1505305 especially post #77 re her ripping off the logo.

100% natural products are worthless unless the ethics are sound also, and Susan's don't appear to be very ethical at all.

How did she make it through the interview stages without it being found? Bagsy got annihilated for far less!

I havent tried hers, I would be interested to know what anybody thinks of them. I used to use all the Chanels, Clinique etc but they can be too harsh on the skin.

For 100% natural I would say: Liz Earle, Neals Yard. If you were willing to pay the money then REN are excellent but may be similar pricing to Chanel. Green&Spring (also expensive!)

I would not recommend Lush, I am a fan of their products but they are not all natural. I know most of their skincare do still contain Methylparaben and/or Propylparabens. They have promised to make more products 100% natural, some have been changed over during the last few years. Their soaps are now 100% natural. However still much nicer on the skin that Chanel etc, I find. Body Shop is the same, they stock a few natural products am not sure if any are in their skincare.

There is a site I've heard of 'Green People', I havent tried it but heard very good things -it's always winning 'eco' awards. The products are good for sensitive skin plus Natural, organic and very eco, fair trade etc.

Anyone found any natural skincare products that are good for oily skin? I've tried simple, nivea and dermalogica but oily skin is still the bane of my life!

It is not hating (a odious american slang term from high schools) but analysing claims. Big, big difference.

no its hating! disliking! cus all i can see on this is people tearing her apart analysing claims isn't what you are doing.
PS dont mock me because i said the term hating, everyone speaks in their own way and i'd appreciate you not commenting on how i choose to talk or speak. I wouldn't do it on you!
each to their own and all that jazz

Perhaps rather than throw an accusation you can illustrate with example?

say 3 examples?

easy just go into the apprentice section and you'll see loads of threads littered with people tearing her apart.
I'm not going to argue on a forum i'm not that sad neither would i belittle someone who has taken steps to a successful career and business.

I recommend Neutrogena soap.
It leaves no residue on the skin.

Hi kitty,

I have very oily skin, and the only brand that has worked for me is Temple Spa. I use their Moisture Matt moisturiser, the Way to go cleansing gel, their toning essense toner, and the windows of the soul eye cream on a daily basis. Since I started using these products my skin has transformed!
