What a day! I'm knackered!
So we met Mr.Snowy! I turn up fasionably late and got evil looks from everyone!
Off to O'Neills were we chatted randomly but I'm not sure if Mr.Snowy's shakes of the head meant that he was enjoying some of my comments or whether I went too far!
WoO was a disaster and the fact that it happened on today of all days is really bad luck!
So the show starts and it's all good till the moment Scarecrow makes his entrance, there's a bang and then the revolve stops! I immediately say 'oh shit!'... Danielle still in character wanders around looking for that rainbow or something, then I assume somebody waves to her to come off from the side so she goes off still in character!

The safety curtain comes down and they say sorry for the technical fault... 10 minutes later there's another announcement saying it's now an electrical fault!

Another announcement 15-20 minutes later then after nearly an hour of waiting around a guy comes on stage to announce that the show has been cancelled as they can't even perform a cut down version of the show with a big hole in the middle of the stage! Everyone will get a refund and there was some booing from the audience!
So after WoO we are joined by the rest of Mr.Snowy's family, who were all very nice! I want them to adopt me!

Not sure if Robbo felt left out as he was the only one without glasses!
We went off to TGI Fridays to nom nom some food, DHF texted asking to join us as her previous plans fell through! She arrived just as we were leaving, we then decided to see Wicked, the other Oz! So it was goodbye's to Snowy and then we drove down to Victoria for Wicked! It wasn't sold out so we got some tickets at the back of the stalls, thought it was a great view of the whole set. It was my first time seeing the dream team that is Rachel Tucker and Louise Dearman together! Brilliant!
Now I'm gonna rant about damn kiddies in theatre! I know shows like WoO are aimed at children but there really needs to a higher age restriction, maybe no kids less than 10 years old. During WoO and Wicked I really couldn't fully enjoy the show as kiddies were constantly talking or shifting in their seats! A little girl even started crying when the Wicked Witch was shouting during Munchkinland and her parents had to carry her out!
Seriously, I want children strapped down and gagged or barred completely!
Apart from my minor rant it was a great day... can't wait to read Mr.Snowy's review of WoO, well the 40 mins he saw of it!
