On Dan herself its a shame the Palladium is so good at keeping cameras out (because RUG are strict on that) . As it is you have someone in a role long term and you can't even get youtubes of what they are doing to talk about. Its no coincidence that Wicked, Legally Blonde and Les Mis have most youtubes and are so successful - if its good why not let peoplel see it?.

There seems to be a lot of falling away going on though - a lot of fansites for the girls from all three shows have gone very quiet. I actually have to find out what they are doing myself if I want to see them. Its sorta understandable as some girls are established in roles and some are doing less. Having said that, Nancyland is very busy as almost all the Nancy's are currently working and some are doing remarkable things, and, on the dot front ,Lauren is about to start one of the biggest roles around. Its going to be a shame if we get to Mid 2013 and the board is dead - because there's going to be all the dots coming out of what they are doing now , or drama school, plus Jessie, Sam and Niamh who are about the same age - its going to be pretty competitive and there's going to be an awful lot of familiar faces to see and talk about if they can get jobs on their talent.

If you want regular info on Danielle (as often as I can find it), I try to keep the forum (www.daniellehopeforum.com and click on "Forum") updated with all the latest news on Danielle and the Oz production, as well as the other OTR contestants. Also, Baby Dragon uploads videos on the YouTube channel as they happen and keeps the forum website updated. Unfortunately, with Dan's having been in the show for a while now, the novelty has worn off in the press and there isn't as much regular news Still, when there is news, it goes up on the forum, and we do get occasional Exclusive content from Danielle (she's picked our first musical in our Musical Theatre Listening Club, for instance), and I've just put up a new Exclusive Photo of the Month from her. Go to the forum to check it out.

As for DS, I will still be around to read and occasionally post, but my main responsibility is the forum, so I spend most of my fan-activity related energy there. It's still fun to go back on occasion and read old posts from when this thread was in its heyday, though. Those posts will always be here to remind us, as long as DS is here. I doubt this thread will completely die, though. When there's little news, posting activity usually dips. When there is news, things will pick up. It won't be what it was when OTR was on, but it will still be here. And I'm sure the random chat will continue, if not as frequently as before.

Thanks for the input guys. I think we are dying when it comes to our daily exchanges (many off topic). We have lost too many posters. For me, Lemmo going was the final straw.

I agree that we will not die completely, but September has finished off DS as I have known it.

I liked the final episode. I still think that a 2 parter would have been better, because this episode goes by with such a fast pace that not everything gets a good resolution. Just like the Silence again. We still have to get a episode were they show their full potential. And i think they should just have Rory and Amy still know each other. They have so little time that they can't give even give that a resolution. I also never felt, but i don't think that was their meaning, the drama of the Doctor going to his death. I also wish that the way he stops himself from dying was done differently. I do like that they set it up in Lets Kill Hitler, but i think that was taking somewhat of a easy way out. It felt like, oh we're at the end of the episode, we'll just say this happened. Crisis averted. I don't think that is a good pay off for what was set up in episodes 1 and 2.
And my worst nightmare has been realized, River Song is his wife!! I did see it a mile away, but i still foolishly hoped they wouldn't go there. She is not good enough to be his wife! I really hope that we see the end of her in season 7. I wouldn't dislike her so much if she wasn't his wife.
Well after this rant i expect that you all think i'm giving this a low grade, nope i'm giving it a 8/10. I'm sure i'll watch it again and i never got irritated while watching it

And i'll give a grade for the season overall. Probably the other seasons as well.

Well I loved the finale, but do have a couple of issues....one is the ending, it was really obvious and the cheap way of getting out.
Two is the fact that River marries the Doctor, we all tried to deny it, but it was always happening
Finally is the Docs hair style, he looks ridiculous.....super cuts could offer great help for that.
I'll give it an 8/10 for now.

They were horrific! The music was ridiculously crap, even my puppy would be a better DJ than that fool! It was really undanceable music, which was why I wasn't feeling it at all plus I didn't even get drunk! Think last time scared me off getting smashed again
