LULUs Most Underrated song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jo1ND7PzkgA To my mind one of LULUs least known songs-Where the poor boys dance-is one of her best songs.Definitely underrated.Do you agree?

as with most of the greats from the 60's, they are known for their big commercial hits, whilst they were the most popular, better tracks often didnt get the recognition they deserved (nowt much has changed then!).
i like 'to sir with love', 'me the peaceful heart, and 'the boat that i row'..... i hate 'shout'... |

Lulu has been totally underrated by the British public throughout her career, mainly because she was so willing to go down the light entertainment route which sort of tarnished her image as a serious singer. She made a couple of cracking AOR albums back in the late 70s "Don't Take love for granted* and "Take me to your heart again" which are both full of great songs butneither has yet been released on CD. The latter had a hit single in the States (I could never miss you) but didn't make an impression here.

I always preferred her version of 'The man wfo sold the world' to Bowies version TBH.
In fact I love it.
