Just glanced down at the date on my phone at work, if my calculations are correct one year ago today K left the BB house and it was the night that Josie & John pulled the all-nighter, when Josie confessed her feelings. And that means the BB High task started a year ago tomorrow (I think). Loved that task.

I don't like Harry Potter Wendy, haven't read a single book or seen a single film, not interested, although I'm pleased it brought reading back into popular culture with the youth of this nation, along with books like Twilight. I know people do read, but it's great when a 'trend' makes it even more popular, trendy I suppose

It's the case whenever a relationship ends though, isn't it... that the person at the end isn't the person we fell in love with, or else we'd still be in love with them? Although, saying that, people grow and change, circumstances change us too, so we can become somebody different in a good way but still not be the person the other person first loved. Some people grow together, change together, others grow and change and then it divides them.

I mean this about all of us, not just John and Josie, as I don't believe they would have fallen in love if they had met outside of the BB house, so they weren't really - in my opinion - going to last, as they fell in love with BB John and BB Josie, not real life, minor zeleb John and Josie - who didn't, of course, even exist until after BB.

It must be so hard coming out of BB, finding yourselves in the public eye whilst trying to start up a relationship with somebody that you've never spent 'normal' time with, time where family and friends are involved, bills have to be paid and suddenly there's this new life they are caught up in. Extremely strange circumstances, must have been quite surreal really.

Collected the books since the kids were younger 14 and 16.... Not read one of them although they're still upstairs. Have watched the films, one I found quite dark. For me when I was younger it was Enid Blyton , The Secret Seven and Famous Five.... Series of books do grab the youngsters and change as years go on. My Gt Niece is/was into the Twilight series .

Well if he doesn't exactly like her at the minute I would rather him ignore her than slag her off. I think that's what a lot of people do when they split just ignore them.

I don't think John's ignoring Josie... in that she's not trying to communicate with him, she's not tweeting him and being ignored and I doubt she's trying to communicate in any other way either.

They have split up, it happens all the time, often bitterly - I know that from extremely bitter experience - and they are both coping with it differently. As I said in my other post, they led a very strange life, in the public eye, an public romance, and it was a nasty split. However, in the end of the day, they are not a couple any longer and I don't think there's any reason for either of them to communicate... in fact, when John does 'communicate' in his strange/individual way with Josie, all he gets is more hate aimed at him, so surely this way is better?

My early years reading was definitely the Famous Five and SEcret Seven books, loved them. I have read the Twilight books, loved them, but then I love vampire films... frightened myself at 3am this morning watching 30 Days of Night, loved it. Don't like the TV series of vampire things though, all about sex and teens can get a bit much, Twilight filled my teen vampire threshold I think

edit: just notice how many times I said 'loved' above... too much loving going on there

It is a strange thing meeting people off the internet. I have been friends with a guy in Manchester for 5 years just online - through IRC (Internet Relay Chat) on a quiz site, and just friends he's a lot younger than me but we always got on, and he once suggested meeting up as he was visiting Bath, and i just balked at the idea. Now I've met Kay, Nicky and Angela, I'd be more than happy to meet up with Dave, strange isn't it lol

I think it's easier when its women. Of course for me being married I couldn't/wouldn't meet a man on my own, having said that if I was single I don't think I could either. When I was younger I had to really know someone before I would go out with them... maybe my insecurites, maybe because it takes a lot to gain my trust. I got really paranoid when my daughter told me she'd met a chap in a club and was going out with him. I asked so many questions, out of protection for her

Sounds about right to me Suzy. I was watching the HL's show last night and Josie wasn't happy with the amount of times C spent with John. Apparently in tonights HL's she and Josie both say that they don't want to be there any more so I'm guessing they were told to sleep on it. I seem to remember that C was up for eviction again because I remember her doing a task with Keely that involved a type of tug of war game so it must have been shortly after that that C left. Can't remember properly but I guess I'll find out when I see the HL's

How rude of me Hello everyone How are you all? Saw Josie's article and been reading the posts on here which really sum up how she must be feeling. It must be hard for both of them and I imagine they're both trying to move on with their lives as best they can.
