unfortunately I was supposed to be making naan breads

I made a naan recipe using yeast and yoghurt but did leave it to proof overnight (possibly too long) and when I went to cook it it puffed up just like a pitta bread.
It tasted great but it was a surprise

You use yoghurt and yeast too like me. One question, do you grill them after brushing in oil or do you have a different technique?

there was a naan bread recipe someone posted on here a few months back I made they came out perfect.
I might take your tip on leaving overnight for pitta though. Think it was this one not sure

Here is the recipe I use.

It works brilliantly everytime and is quick-ish too.

I did a version of this
http://www.grouprecipes.com/39438/ho...aan-bread.html

I halved the recipe and it made enough for 2 large naans. I set the oven to combi oven/grill on the highest setting and heated a cast iron pan.

I put the naan on to cook and for the fist couple of minutes it looked to be rising nicely but I left it for a minute or two and when I came back it was puffed up like a pitta.
