I think they're the best of any composer's, better than Beethoven's or Mahler's or anybody else's. So often scherzos are the least significant and impression-forming of movements, but with Bruckner they are so dynamic, and you remember them. The scherzos of the 4th, 7th, 8th and 9th are amazingly good.
