http://www.recipecottage.com/

I've had that site in my bookmarks on all my PCs since 1995!

It hasn't been updated in ages, and some parts of the site no longer function (e.g. forum), but there are over 35,000 recipes on there.

BBC Good Food, Good Housekeeping and I quite like Chilli & Chocolate It's more of a blog but they do some reviews and put some stuff on there which always seems to be right up my street. (http://www.chilliandchocolate.com/)

love bbcgoodfood as it has reviews/ comments and people give really good tips. I use bbc.co.uk/food some times as well but only if seen on tv. Plus the mums know best range on there has the best curry recipes.

uktv.co.uk/food is ok but crashes a lot and the recipes are hit and miss I've found.

EDIT:
Oooo and sanjeevkapoor.com for indian recipes.

Will be taking a look at c4rv's suggestion though

I like Gogee and AllRecipes. I also use the US version of AllRecipes.

I've been known to check out Epicurean.

This site is fantastic :

www.recipesuggester.co.uk

It allows you to make very specific selections about ingredients you want to use up, and has recipes from BBC Food or allrecipes.co.uk

I love Allrecipes! There are lots of reviews and comments like every other site, but you can also submit your own recipes.

Their summer recipe page is currently pretty popular with me too.

I do like this site, because the people who have made the recipe answer you back sometimes which is nice - as you get to ask questions about the recipe

Two Australian women who started video cookery blogs in 2005 because they thought TV cookery progs were too flashy and everything pre-chopped, any cock-ups edited out etc.

Wasn't it an Australian couple a bloke and a woman?

Another vote for bbcgoodfood here - loads of recipes and I really appreciate everyone's comments and suggestions on there.

Joy of Baking is another one I visit from time to time. I think I've only every tried one recipe from there but there are loads of recipes to choose from.

Definately BBC Good Food! I have recently founded Sparkrecipes.com though and have made some really nice meals. It's American though, so conversions are needed lol

Those top two look great, thanks for that, I've now bookmarked them.

The last one looks like just a site for the mag though, or am I looking in the wrong place?
