Thoughts on this song and video? I just watched the video and the final scene is so haunting where she is in the water and released into the air - she died hours just after that.

Good song but didn't deserve to be the last single she'd ever release.

Shame and yes the video is very sad as is the behind the scenes look at the making of it, she was so lovely.

Agreed, the part where she says 'We are now in sunny Bahamas' with a huge smile on my face haunts me, as she would never go back home.

One of my favorite Aaliyah songs, but, as I've said again, I cannot listen to it a lot, because of what happened. The video is no doubt amazing, but I can't watch it either
The scene that you mentioned especially gives me chills...

I know, when I watch it, it is just so haunting. I'm about to revive an Aaliyah Appreciation Thread I made a while back

That's a great idea, especially granted that we're one month away from her 10th death anniversary

I can't listen to any of her music now without feeling weird. Same as Michael Jackson. I feel awkward listening to anyone who's passed away. I don't know how to explain it but it scares me

it is haunting now but i still think it is a nice refreshing song! That album is so sickly produced i love it!

But whatever was gonna happen had to happen after this video was shot, i mean i hate the idea of fate being decided for you but i am glad that we have these memories and people know of what she achieved and that she sold one heck of a load in three albums!

Lovely summery song, I haven't watched the video for many years, I seem to remember her looking gorgeous and dancing on the back of a yacht on a sunny day...something like that? I don't want to watch it again though because of the sadness

I've seen bits of the video and I love the song, I have it on my ipod. Shame it was her last ever single though

The behind the scenes where she is on the beach at sunrise getting ready for the last day's shoot is very haunting..especially when she points out to the sea and mentions how beautiful the dawn is. It just all feels so ethereal.
