I'm ridiculously happy about this, however i do agree that its strange because Faye did say on OKTV nothing was on the cards, and last week on Loose Women Clare had a very similar chat...

Hooray...love Steps...and the fact that Pete Waterman produced them. More Steps songs please...

One question...why on earth is the series going out on Murdoch's network? Disappointed.

What with this and Geri Halliwell releasing a new album, the world of music is saved.

i'm ecstatic about this! I've been holding out for a Steps reunion for nearly 10 years!! My absolute favourite band as a kid, and I still LOVE listening to them now. Gold is one of my most played albums.

I don't get Sky Living though. I might have to watch it at my mates house. It's a shame it's not ITV or a Freeview channel.

Fingers crossed for new material. Hopefully they won't go down the 'Headlines' route.

On a side note I was reading about Steps a few months ago and had no idea just how well their albums sold. Step One and Steptacular sold over 1 million copies each in the UK! I had no idea. Exceptional sales for a pop band, even in those days.

My childhood flashes before my eyes. Heartbeat/Tragedy was my first ever cassette. I had all the albums, 'Last Thing On My Mind' was my most favourite song as a child. Don't know if it's the best idea that they are reforming. Ive got to say though that they are in a different league compared to all the stuff children are listening to today. Steps at least put out clean, good old pop songs with very grand melodies. Claire's voice was epic as well
