If you buy this record your life will be better
Does anyone remember this song?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67NOVauZIu8 a record producer has chucked together a house beat a session singer and the music to material girl It seems really stupid marketing campaign to call it that..like they are trying to hypnotise you into buying it hehe I wonder how many people actually bought it ..not becuase they liked the song but becuase they thought there life would get bettter. does anyone here actually own it? |

I have a copy, and quite like it. It does though contain a rather dubious line about someone having 'a party in my pants'
![]() It was by The Tamperer and Maya, who did 'Feel It' earlier in the year, the song based on the Jacksons' Can You Feel It. I remember that unexpectedly hitting No.1 after bobbing about on the charts for weeks (something that practically never happened at that time). The title is a parody of the bombastic title of the Manic Street Preachers' If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next, which had been around a few months earlier. They also did 'Hammer To The Heart'. I don't think that borrowed from another song, so it probably came after this one. I have a copy of that too
