I have a couple of problems with this tv

1. When selecting DVB there is a blue screen with a white box which moves around the screen with the words 'DVB no signal' there is no option of software.

2. The same with the in built DVD same again no signal

Lets get the obvious (stupid) question out of the way first.

There is an aerial plugged into the telly and it is pointing at a transmitter that is broadcasting digital signals isn't it?

If the DVD is built in then that eliminates a faulty or improperly connected cable as the cause. That sort of implies it may be cream crackered.

When you say no option of software what does that mean exactly? Do you mean that there is no set-up menu displayed on screen? If so then that would again imply a fairly major fault. Even if there was no aerial and the telly had never been tuned in it should still display the set-up menu (how else are you supposed to tune it in otherwise!).

Is it new and does not work straight out of the box or is it a few years old and has suddenly stopped working?

If it's brand new then take it back to wherever you bought it from and get them to sort it. If it is old then a repair might be dearer than replacing it with a new one.

It's about 4 years old, it dosnt come up with any set up menu!
