*Britney's Eras.
![]() Anyway, my favourite was In The Zone. She had pretty much full creative control, performed great, was still actually singing live more often than not and was easily the biggest star in the world at that point. ![]() ITZney > EveryOtherney.

Couldn't choose.
I think I love her more now because she's been through the crazy, and unlike so many others, hasn't completely lost her career, she's come back, 3 times now and proved she can still do her thing better than the majority in the business. Still breaking records and picking up awards, constantly improving as well. |

I'm not sure...Every single one of her eras had something special
The BOMT era was obviously huge.It was her breakthrough and caused a pop revolution. Then, during the Oops era she gave some of her best performances to date. The 'Britney' era was about her growing up and getting sexier and naughtier The ITZ era was the absolute peak of her popularity, she was grown and knew exactly what she wanted. The 'Blackout' era was practically her on the mend, which was undeniably interesting and of course the critical reception was better than ever. The 'Circus' era was her comeback to normal Brit and it really brought her back in the game. The 'Femme Fatale' era is not done yet, so I wouldn't like to judge, but it's the 1st era since her comeback that she seems to be on her way to a real comebackHowever, BOMT and Oops...were rather cheesy, 'Britney' was in the middle of innocent and mature profile, so it was a bit confusing, 'Blackout' was half-hearted, 'Circus' was billed as her real comeback, but it was underwhelming and 'Femme Fatale' is just not working, apart from the tour, it seems half-hearted too and the videos were not very good either. So, I choose 'In The Zone' |

I'm not really a fan but I liked the kind of stuff she was doing in late 2001/2002.

Say what you like about Britney, but you can't deny that was the bravest career move for a Popstar ever.

In The Zone, I wish she would start taking creative control of her albums again. Obviously I imagine she would need to be allowed to have control of her life first!! 'Scary' is the only album track with a writing credit and it's one of my favourite songs off Femme Fatale!

1. In The Zone 2. Blackout 3. Circus 4. Femme Fatale 5. Britney 6. Oops I Did It Again 7. Baby One More Time |

Blackout without a doubt. Her personal life aside, that album is amazing.

Britney
Blackout Femme Fatale In The Zone Oops I Did It Again Circus Baby One More Time Britney as it was so the right time for me age wise for those kinda songs to really connect with me. Blackout as technically her most brilliant - it was such a mad time that I think the randomness fed through to the songs making it so interesting. I'm seeing her in October as I really liked FF too! |

In The Zone, 2003 was fantastic for Experimental Pop (American Life, Body Language, Try This, Stripped etc.) and that showed Britney as a massive hit maker as well as a confident young woman! The album is her only what i call "perfect" disc. It is loose, sensual, funky, fresh. It is like she took elements of Erotica and Ray Of Light and made love to Janet. and Homogenic wanted a threesome! Love that album.
Blackout and Femme Fatale tie afterwards. Blackout because it was darkney! it was some Dubby, Sonic and Trance and while ElectroPop had been done before Britney was living the sounds! it was an alive disc and functional and has a cultish appeal to it. While Femme Fatale is an "EVENT album" it is Pop gone quirky and wrong and feels so experimental and right. It is the polar end to Blackout, it is Britney knows what she can do when the producers can manipulate and push her forward! both 9/10 albums! So yeah my fave "era" In The Zone.....also adds a cool point cos Madonna duetted with her too ![]() then, Blackout/Femme Fatale tie it. Then Britney which is very strong R&B infused Dance Pop. dont have too much love for her first two albums but they were blockbuster style and had some awesome smashes! And like Circus the least! |

I literally love all 'Britney's era's'.
They all have certain things I like more than others and have standouts... top three, if I had to: 1-Blackout 2-Femme Fatale 3-Circus |

'Britney' without a doubt, although I think when 'Circus' hit my teenage years there was no going back. 'Overprotected' and 'I'm a Slave 4 U' are just so brilliant and I really loved her image in that era, although confused, it just worked for me.
