I've always liked the Saturdays and thought they deserved more success with decent pop songs like Ego and Higher but this generic dance pop sound just isnt doing it for me, neither did Notorious. It just sounds the same as any other dance pop song out there right now.
Utter crap. |

Its good but its not The Saturdays material. They need more Higher/Up style songs, thats their sound that they pull off well.

I don't like this dance genre they are going into. Girls aloud got better when they did it. The Saturdays have gotten worse.

Just listened a couple more times, and have come to the conclusion that the instrumental is what saves this from being a truly atrocious song...
The lyrics make no sense, and the chorus is too repetitive...Mollie cannot sing at all, she is just a pretty face, she seems to get all the easy talking parts, her and Frankie are the worst singers in the band. Frankie + Mollie = Nicola and Cheryl... Its definitely a top ten song, perhaps a top 3, but they are releasing it at the same time as Leona who has come out with a stunning track, so to me they won't beat her with this track... A shame as I do feel they deserve a #1, but not with this song... |

In fairness 90% of pop songs lyrics make little sense
Don't they realise how bad that sounds...

Yes, but they sound good whilst not making sense...'we're all animal' and 'I'm a gangster on the dancefloor' are some of the worst, nonsensical lyrics this year...
Don't they realise how bad that sounds... ![]() What about Girls Aloud "we're gift wrapped kitty cats" |

It's a big departure from the days of Up and Issues etc but I quite like it. It's a much better song than Notorious.
